“Mother’s Day Classic run was a great run in the city… it was amazing to see so many people running for the cause, every one of them has a story, whether running in memory, or running for someone, or a personal story… Running for cancer causes, for me, is close to my heart. Our mother consistently shows up for us whilst she fights cancer, she’s a true warrior! Every dollar donated, I am thankful, as it will help many people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. Happy Mothers Day to all mothers May it be a graceful one. #mothersday #asics #mothersdayclassic2026

Coach Caroline , this morning said it’s full circle. It was great wearing the 37.5 pacer bib and motivating others ahead of me. @kudostunes my parkrun buddy who joined and supported me, he calls me Coach lol 🤭🤭. It was drizzling, but by far a great Mernda Parkrun. @northernrunnersmelbourne came through with muffins and flowers, such a special treat. @dannikartika , what an honour to have been motivated by you. Next, we shall pace each other on a full marathon 🤭. Enjoying my running journey one foot at a time. 📸: @r.adr06

To everyone donating for @mothersdayclassicaus , thank you so much for supporting a great cause. Cancer awareness means a lot to me, as it has affected members of my family. As I run 12kms tomorrow, I want to say to those affected and the survivors, please continue fighting the good fight. To all mothers taking the time to walk/run, cheering you all on 🤍

Early this year I joined Northern Runners because of this beautiful lady Danni. It was pacers week at Mernda Parkrun and she had the 37.5s pacers vest on, and each time I ran the course I aimed to catch up to her, but I wasn’t as strong then and was still finding my feet. But she truly inspired me to chase that pace. A couple months later, I have surpassed that time that I was chasing and have set a PB at Mernda Park run at 35.28s. This coming weekend I will be wearing the very same pacer vest and hoping that anyone in that Parkrun who feels an ounce of “I cannot do it” or starts giving up, knows whilst chasing that pacer that anything is possible. Moral of the story, if that day Danni didn’t wear the pacer bib, I couldn’t have known about Northern Runners and secondly, I wouldn’t be where I am today in my running journey… It’s Mother’s Day weekend, those around come join us at Mernda Parkrun, it’s going to be lots of fun!

We should find courage in trying to do our best to change life’s, one initiative at a time. The conversation with Mayor of @brimbankcouncil Virginia Tacos was testament that when like minded people meet, best believe better things are coming… it takes a village, and it takes community

@wcwm_intiative Wednesday: I had a great conversation with Mayor Virginia Tacos Moments like these remind me why we keep going because when we step into our purpose, it shifts what’s possible for all of us. We embody what it means to lead with conviction, to stand firm in our beliefs, and to serve community with intention and heart. That kind of leadership moves people, it opens plenty doors, it changes lives. WCWM Wednesday is for the women who show up, consistently and courageously. The ones who are building, breaking barriers, and creating pathways for others to rise. #wcwm #womeninspiringwomen #womeninleadership #womenempowerment #womenwednesday

Running my own race!!! I started running a year ago, at a time when I was battling postpartum depression and Low self esteem . Running quite literally saved my life. In the middle of one of my darkest seasons, it gave me a way to find light again, with each run, I rebuild myself, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It reminded me that even when the world feels heavy, there is always a way through. That strength lives within me and that I can overcome anything. I haven’t stopped running, it’s a true reflection of my willpower, my healing, and my journey back to myself. Loving myself more and putting myself first. #throwbackmemories📷❤️ #nitaterrytee #postpartum #postpartumbody #runtherock2026
