Das Meisterwerk "Stabat Mater" von Pergolesi wurde hervorrgend von dem Countertenor @constantin.zimmermann und der Sopranistin @tehilalala_nini_goldstein unter der Leitung von @nirotemnir umgesetzt und interpretiert. Ein Abend, der das wundervolle Publikum zum Jubeln brachte.

Das bedeutende „Stabat Mater“ hat Pergolesi 1736 kurz vor seinem Tod komponiert. Seine Musik hat generell nachfolgende Komponisten nachhaltig inspiriert, darunter auch Strawinsky und Respighi.
Mit dem Countertenor Constantin Zimmermann sowie der Sopranistin Tehila Goldstein und dem Dirigenten Rotem Nir ist eine stilgerechte Exegese garantiert.

Rusalka at @teatrosancarlo was a rollercoaster, ended this week with an incredibly emotional opening night. It was so wonderful to finally assist again my mentor @danettinger this time in his Italian house, and to witness the extraordinary Dmitri Tcherniakov and his amazing team.

I have just concluded my biggest operatic challenge by far: Prokofiev’s “The Gambler” at the Salzburg Festival @salzburgerfestspiele .
It was a pleasure to assist the AMAZING Timur Zangiev for the first time, and pure joy and inspiration to work with legendary stage director Peter Sellars. Working alongside the best artistic team and cast ever, along with THE @viennaphilharmonic , has been an unforgettable experience.

Check out this behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the preparation for The Gambler at the Salzburg Festival (@salzburgerfestspiele ). The talented team, led by director Peter Sellars, conductor Timur Zangiev, assistant conductor Rotem Nir (@nirotemnir ), language coach Liuba Orfenova and pianist Artem Grishaev is working diligently to present an extraordinary production, set to premiere on August 12th.
