One of my many flexes is imagining a look and bringing it to life by myself. There’s nothing like the feeling that comes with wearing something you made from scratch; I can’t explain it.
I was invited to a 40th birthday party in August. I had no idea what I wanted to wear but I knew two things for sure; I wasn’t wearing asoebi and I definitely wasn’t tying Gele.
Out of nowhere, I decided I wanted a hat (don’t ask me why because I don’t know too😂). I ended up buying just the Asooke(Gele) and turned it into a hat.
The hat inspired the entire look, everything else was made to compliment it. This collar? The perfect neckpiece 😍😍
