If you want to get the most out of a squat or try different variations of a squat, you better work on improving your squat depth.
The biggest limiting factor of a deep squat is ankle mobility among other factors. Check how far your knee can travel past your toes using this simple test to see if you need more mobility work in the ankles!

We are told to stretch the āoverworked hip flexorsā very often which is a good idea but itās just half the picture. Not only do the hip flexors get tight, they also get weak!
