A closer look at the Nigo Air Force 1 ‘Last Orgy 2’. Featuring the classic ‘01 shape, patent leather, and various ‘Nigo Air’ and ‘Last Orgy 2’ details, these are one of the best AF1 collabs we’ve seen for a long time. Who’s trying to grab these? Releasing exclusively at the @designmuseum on 1st May, before a wider release through Human Made and Undercover on May 2nd, along with the tshirt and coach jacket. Nike invited me to an orgy?! Well, kinda… to coincide with the release of Nigo’s Air Force 1 “Last Orgy 2”, the @designmuseum London have curated over 700 pieces from Nigo’s personal collection, and Nike invited me to take a look before doors officially open on Friday. The exhibition is incredibly well curated, including so many of Nigo’s design inspirations, early works, Bape, Human Made, Nike, Kenzo, and even pottery. Highlights for me were the legendary Nowhere shopfront, and the recreation of Nigo’s childhood bedroom. The Air Force 1’s themselves are absolutely perfect, with the 01 shape, and so many cool details. Detailed shots of those to come… The exhibition is open from May - October so definitely give it a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
