Alex and I’s relationship consists of her always being ready for whatever I throw at her! The way my Virgo brain is always thinking 10 steps ahead, also means asking those closest to me to trust me, regularly. I truly believe her Libra energy appreciates the directness, it’s why we’re an epic team. Nine19 Studio is proof that she has put a lot of trust in the vision for our studio over the years.
The thing is, Nine19 on Saint Mary’s was demure, gentle, and soft. The idea with her was that anyone could come in and shoot, regardless of their skill level. She didn’t offer much space to build but we always made her work. She did her job and she opened a lot of doors and opportunities for us. However, as the years flew past it became obvious that it was time for Nine19 to grow and let go!
Where other studios are basic, the new Nine19 Studio is a bold baddie. She asks what can you imagine building? Big sets, fun lighting, or embrace her as she is! She forces you out of the comfort of beige and asks “what can you create?!” She is not plug and play. She is excitement, energetic, and fierce! She is open and inviting. She wants you to be brave and try something new, in a really big way!
We really are just two besties turning our dreams into REALITY. While
