It was important for me to break down the idea around a traditional runway and therefor, movement played a central role in shaping the narrative of the show.
Conceived as a form of language, it became a tool to shift proximity, intimacy, and perception between the models and the audience.
Together with Jana Travé, we approached movement as a way to disrupt the traditional codes of the runway show: where models typically remain distant, self-contained, and disconnected from one another. Instead, we wanted to create intimacy introduced moments of interaction between them as well as the clothes.
Models crawled across the space, held hands, whispered to one another and exchanged small notes as they moved from one room to another.
With this performative layer we intended to blur the boundaries between performance, daily life, dressing, styling, and experimenting, placing transformation at the center of the experience.
To del Elop the show, we recorded ourselves and played around in my studio to work out & coreograph actings as well as interaccions between the models. Our intention was to create something more intimate and alive a choreography of gestures that invited the viewer to observe and be a voyeur of a fleeting, almost secret exchange and so we Exploreu what that meant.
Thank you for your endless creativity and beautiful energy to you both. It was so much fun to create this!

Process & development of “Dream Studio Miniature” by @pensi.pascual
Swipe to see from idea to show! 🏠🌬️🤍
After moving studios last year, I found myself reflecting a lot on how important intimate spaces are for creativity, experimentation, and introspection & dreaming.
The idea of having a miniature of our new studio, was born from that feeling of wanting to show where the magic happens and bringing people closer to NIMPH’s world. We couldn’t host a show there, but I still wanted you to have a peek into what goes on behind the scenes and to reveal the insides of NIMPH and create an immersive intimate experience for everyone who entered the presentation.
We were working with a space divided into different rooms, and we wanted each room to offer a distinct experience. This became the central interactive piece of Room 2. A miniature reproduction of our studio, with a live camera linked into a screen where you could see yourself as a giant in a little NIMPH world.
Also the models interacted with the piece throughout the performance, creating a dialogue and a sort of intimate game that the public wasn’t part of, but had the privilege to witness.
It is important to me to challenge the expectations around a fashion show and I love to always include other art and design disciplines in my work and shows.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with this amazing duo to realize this vision! Thank you Sophie for putting us in contact & help making this vision reality. @sophmcdonaldd
