My wonderful pal @laetitiatlj moved to Australia a couple of years ago and is kicking butt as an eyewear designer. So when I received a surprise package a couple weeks ago I bawled my eyes out because not only did she send me one of her designs BUT SHE NAMED THEM AFTER ME ❤️❤️❤️ I’m wearing @oscarwylee frames in NILOFAR ❤️😭❤️ this is the sweetest gesture and it’s so nice to feel some love while being stuck on this shitty grief train. MERCI MON PETIT CORNICHON I literally won’t be taking these off ❤️❤️❤️

The last few months have been pretty horrendous, and on Saturday my dear dad left this earth and returned to the cosmos. You’re forever my best friend and biggest hype man. Gonna miss the way you could never tell a joke without laughing so much you couldn’t get your words out, the way you’d answer the simplest question with a complex metaphorical analogy (“dad, can you drive me to sainsburys?”…”YOU KNOW, IF YOU NEED TO CLIMB A MOUNTAIN YOU CANNOT SEE THE TOP, YOU JUST HAVE TO CLIMB ONE STEP AT A TIME”) and most of all the way you never let anything or anyone wreck your vibe. I know you’re back where you belong, where there’s no pain and no suffering. Pretty lost without you but I know you’ll point me in the right direction.
