Finally back from such a long break from here!! Kicking it off with some recent stuff done for @staygoldflamingo ⚡️
Have always loved collaborating with the bar as a lot of its branding elements are things I resonate with (aka rock n roll 🌝), so when they asked me to bring back the “best of’s” from our past work together, I thought this time I won’t hold back.
Ended up bringing my own bass guitar to the set, among other things. 🤣 Always fun when your personal touches make it into work. Grateful I get to continue working with the bar and the team!!

When @odetterestaurant reached out, there was a wave of questions that came rushing in. How do I photograph the food of what’s consistently rated as the best restaurant in Singapore? Why and how the heck did they even find me? And many other questions.
But ultimately, I realise it boils down to letting the food do the heavy-lifting. The entire team has been working hard on this new chapter for the restaurant, we just needed to let their work shine. ✨
Extremely honoured to be given this opportunity to be a part and contribute in my own little way as Odette begins this new chapter. Excited to share more from this set!

“How Do We Push This Time?”
…is a question I almost regretted asking after my briefing call with Sony. 🤣
What was supposed to be a chill Siargao surf trip suddenly became Jeju → Tokyo → Bali, plus client shoots squeezed in between. This past few weeks really redefined what “pushing myself” looked like — physically, creatively, mentally… all of it.
But we made it. Alive. Still shooting... with the ⍺7 V on hand. 🌝 I rarely hype gear, but this one genuinely earned it. 👌🏼
This reel is a piece of that journey.

Breakfast food is my favourite kind of food, and Singaporean breakfast has always been interesting for me.
Whenever I’d have kaya toast, I will always be mesmerised as I mix and swirl some soy sauce on my soft boiled eggs. The oils of my kopi gah dai is always hypnotising, and my plate of nasi lemak always got as many textures as there are flavours.
So when I got my hands on the new @sonysingapore FE 100mm f/2.8 Macro GM OSS, I knew it was the perfect time to share more about this little fascination of mine.😁
The lens is a great upgrade from its G lens predecessor. The additional 10mm is a big help, the AF is much faster and more reliable, and the sharpness it delivers is refreshing. 😮💨
It still hasn’t hit the shelves, but will definitely upgrade when it’s officially out!

“We want to feature our oysters!” “We have a whole octopus that came in today!” “We need something more, like a pop of colour!”

Shot this for @neonpigeonsg and still can’t get over at how pretty that yolk is. I didn’t need to spend so much time working the scene for this dish. The yolk did its thing. 🥺

Probably the cutest food I’ve shot in recent memory. So much fun building this set for @skai.sg for their collaboration with @officialpeterrabbit !
Was so mesmerised with these little food art that the kitchen team created especially for this collaboration for their high tea.
Bonus is seeing the restaurant full, all with their own high tea sets. So glad when I saw it myself while I was in the restaurant too. 🌝

I remember being so amazed at the different rooms during my first time here with @visit_singapore . I thought it’d be so fun to be able to use the rooms as sets for my shoots.
Cut to this shoot, and finally got to use their furniture and rooms for our own shoot!! We were all just having fun while clearing out the layouts… probably induced by all the ice cream we were eating. 😂

The past round of Lunar New Year shoots was all sorts of fun, especially this one that I did with @grandhyattsing !
Was tasked to take inspiration from the hotel’s interior design, while also meshing the visuals with the theme that the clients wanted for this year’s festivities. Had to design myself some custom-made props that are unique to the hotel to ensure we go beyond a good ole Chinese lantern and what not. 🤣
So glad how these turned out!! Appreciate the team’s help also in ensuring we make this one special. 🫶🏼
