Form is Fake (aka @nikkithayer and David Daw) are excited to announce our first ever open to the public immersive experience!
PRESS ME, I TALK is your chance to play a spy from the Federal Bureau of Spying: infiltrate the mysterious MacGuffin Toy Company and learn the secret of their mysterious new product.
Players will be given SUPER SECRET missions and compete to be the best spy ever while they mingle, make new friends, and maintain cover as a normal employee.
Tickets in bio - this is a WIP show for friends, family, and sympathetic onlookers. Expect chaos. Free food and drinks. See you there!
This year, I’m focused on my sense of belonging. I find I preemptively exclude myself from things on the assumption that I would do a bad job, or that people would resent having me there. I carry myself like someone standing in a doorway, unsure if some gatekeeper is going to let me in. When I allow myself to feel like I belong, I throw the door wide open and do everything I can to welcome folks who are waiting to be told they’re allowed in. It’s something I really like about myself. Also, the doorway is fake and so is the gatekeeper. I’m trying to remember that this year.
Anyway. I have not been wearing enough silly little outfits lately. I have got to wear more silly little outfits.
Right now he’s pouting in front of the door waiting for David to come home but otherwise he’s vibing. You’re getting the best of this - the smile is flawless but the breath is hot trash
I went to Japan and saw @pj_hime and a giant Miyazaki robot and a Teamlab exhibit that looked like the inside of David’s brain and this happened in February but I forgot to tell anyone
I HAVEN’T EVEN MENTIONED #neotropolis! Thank you @darrylpamplin for capturing the most competent I may ever look. This was my first ever desert festival and I couldn’t have hitched my star to a nicer group of space punks than @the_thirt33ns .
VERHOEVEN (the military fashion brand we made up for Neotropolis) will return next year with even more sophisticated business cubes. It was a pleasure exchanging goods and services with everyone we met.
