Starting off the week with a look into a hard-working DJ’s office: @nikk030 shows us what it sounds like when you bring some groove into a gloomy Monday.🔥 “For this jam, I used my Roland TR-8S and the Pioneer Toraiz SP-16. These devices offer the best workflow for me when it comes to quickly carrying out ideas and grooves. 🔊This works well, because you can easily connect and use them in your DAW of choice. I often play with samples that I pre-record during my travels or when I’m chilling at home. These samples are quickly loaded onto the instruments for further work. As you can see & hear, I played around with the random pattern function of the TR-8S, which is a fantastic feature. It allows you to change the entire groove instantly, making it a perfect tool for future live sets.“🎛️
