I used to be scared my career would die when I had kids because that’s what society used to tell us.
becoming a mother has pushed me personally and professionally to limits I did not know existed.
I had a camera in hand up until 11 days before I gave birth my first pregnancy and was back at 5 weeks PP.
I shot my first time square billboard 8 weeks PP and took my 3 month old to see it.
I shot a WNBA campaign for Delta at 5 months PP.
We bought a fixer upper, tore it down to the studs, built it back up in 8 months while I was pregnant, sleeping on an air mattress at my mom’s house with a toddler next to me.
I shot 4-6 days every week of 2025 up until I was placed on bed rest with preeclampsia with my second pregnancy.
I had 2 miserable pregnancies and 2 scary csections, one resulting in Koa being in the NICU for 3 weeks.
I’ve never been content with where I’m at professionally, but having two beautiful baby boys watching me has lit a fire inside that is even stronger than before.
My job as their mama is to raise kind, empathetic, emotionally intelligent, hard working men who RESPECT the women among them.
I want them to look back at me and say holy fuck, my mom is such a badass. She could do ANYTHING!
I am proof that women can do anything - ESPECIALLY mothers because we’ve already gone through hell and back, stretching and pushing our bodies and minds to limits we didn’t know existed.
