A statement we cannot stay silent about.
Some organizers from EU have decided to hold a dance event in Russia.
Despite numerous discussions and appeals, this decision remains unchanged.
We believe it is important for the dance community to understand why this raises serious concerns.
Russia is conducting a war in Europe, financed through its state budget. Any event held in Russia contributes, through taxes, to that budget - in a country officially recognized by the European Parliament for supporting terrorism-related activities.
This is not a political position.
It is a legal and ethical reality!
❗️We will not send our dancers to russia and do not support events held there, nor events affiliated with organizers who initiate or cooperate in any form with activities in Russia.
