Spring arrived gently, like a quiet promise that the world can begin again.
So, here I am stepping beyond my comfort zone with passion in my chest, grit in my bones, and a softness I refuse to lose. This season I’m painting with color colors of my culture, my story, my becoming.
But, the world outside fighting for survival, while we are busy building a world of our own.
There is war. There are families living in fear.
Recently I met a family whose hearts tremble at the thought of ICE knocking on their door. And, moments like that remind me why I’m here. It breaks my heart.
My purpose on this earth is simple: to be of service to people. To hold space. To witness. To care. To help.
This space is my safe place and if you’re hurting, lost, unwanted, repressed, or slowly healing, brave work of healing.
I’m sitting here with you. I see you. Truly.
And even in a world that feels heavy, we will keep choosing color. 🕊️🫂
