'Butterfly'
A symbol that for me means the letting go of the old me, and becoming the me I am today.
The excruciating act of letting the current version of you go, in order for you to become a stronger version of yourself is one of the biggest sacrifices in this world.
For the grief of losing yourself is too overpowering, and not letting it consume and drown you takes the strength of every strand of your being.
If you've gone through this process, let me tell you something. You're a brave soul, you're meant to fly high and achieve beautiful things. You might not see it right now but I promise you, someday you'll see it too <3

"Semi-Colon"
It is a symbol quite close to my heart, I even have it tattooed on my wrist. It's a symbol for trauma and suicide survivors.
This symbol is a reminder for me, a reminder that I survived it all. I made it through the toughest of times. This symbol reminds me that I gave myself a second chance at life, and I can't give up on it. I have to give it my all to it. The life that I have is not to be taken for granted, and that I have to live it to my fullest.
'Phoenix'
A symbol that for me signifies the excruciating process of losing yourself and the journey that you lead after that, to find yourself again.
It's a symbol that for me carries grief and hope.
A small reminder to the ones who are alone on the day of friendship. I hope, wish, and pray that you find friends. Friends who accept you and love you for the way you are.
Maybe you've given up all hope of finding friends, for everyone has only hurt and betrayed you until now. It's okay, try and be your friend first. Learn how to enjoy your company and how to be comfortable with yourself.
Always remember, you deserve to be loved and cared for. You make the world a better place by giving out the kindness, love, and care you have in your heart.
