· Mom, well this is quite interesting, Joan is the mother of one of our old neighbors when we lived in our condo in Winthrop. She and her husband just moved to The Parc. Her grandson came to visit today. We all had lunch together in the dining room downstairs and then they came by for a visit. New friends, what happiness. Love, mom
· Dad, I made a new golf friend today. We met over food and a drink down in the dining room. We’re going to make plans to golf soon

· Mom, this is my breakfast today. This morning I jump on the scale, which I only do once a week, and I am two pounds up. No surprise, we went out to eat four nights, had more glass of wine than I can count and ate loads of sweets, all celebrating my birthday. But it was wonderful, so worth it. Love, mom
