I wrote the harp theme of Rheya (OUT NOW *** LINK IN BIO ***) right after finishing Solaris by Stanislaw Lem. Rheya is a principal character in the book.
I've had a tendency to overintellectualize my music in the past. This was just a mood thing. Sat down at the keyboard on a Sunday morning and played a melody.
If you've not read it, do. It's one of those books I wish I'd read sooner. Philosophical sci-fi at its best.
