Proud of my work these past few weeks on @fallontonight . Most people assume I’m just playing different guys on the Italian spectrum but I’ve actually been playing the same character with a riveting storyline connecting it all:
After having his wife’s appearance insulted on national television, Rick Donner decides to run for office in order to clean up this country, he is seduced by the GOP and changes his name to Bill Doyle working his way up to briefly become the Speaker of the House. Scandal ensues however and soon Rick finds himself back at the Tonight Show in a professional capacity as a cameraman but his eagerness to interrupt the show with non sequitors loses him the job. In a desperate moment he joins up with some local mobsters and while first believing he had found a beautiful musical community Rick soon realizes he is now in a world ruled by violence and disrespect. Completely lost Rick ends up back where he started: in the Tonight Show audience. And while at first it was scary for him to admit who he truly was, he soon found himself embraced by none other than Jimmy Fallon, the son of a bitch who once insulted his wife’s simple looks. Rick threw Jimmy away from him, expecting this violent revenge to be succinct but he couldn’t help but notice the effortless way that Jimmy allowed himself to be flung all over the room. It dawned on Rick that life will fling you around like an audience of tourists and sometimes you have to allow that. Life can be cruel, kind, and as random as a throwaway gag on a late night talk show but somehow we will find ourselves thrown back on stage, where we belong. And in this moment Rick finally knew love.
Somebody mentioned to me that this Trump guy has been in the news lately. Reminded me of a time I was in the news with that Trump guy in 2017, an amazing time to be a political comedian, scroll to slide 2 to see my actual set which was heavily censored by the media of course.
The world’s most dangerous comedy show returns on June 4th at the @lyrichyperion , hosted by @brettdavisrip & @nicknaney ! Stay tuned for the teams to be announced!
Honored to be part of @human.theories written & directed by @jzeidz premiering at @tribeca in June. The movie is kind of a remake of American Pie where I’m Jason Biggs and Tim Platt is basically Stifler teaching me how to be a man. Loved working on this and think it’s going to be an amazing time at the flicks for fans of laughs and love!
Happy birthday to my beautiful bride @clareisokane you are the coolest, sexiest, funniest woman. After our first date I thought to myself “I never want to stop hanging out with her” and it’s still true 💋! Love you lots lady!💗
