Very fortunate, and very thankful. A deer I did not expect to actually have an opportunity at, but funny things happen in the whitetail woods. I love this shit!

Last night presented a once in a lifetime opportunity!
The Velvet 8 created one of the best whitetail stories that I have gotten to witness at the home farm and in typical Velvet 8 fashion, not only did he give us a show last night, but he survived one of the most brutal EHD years we have ever experienced.
Long story short, I got daylight pics of him on the second, drove 8 hours home, bought my tag and had him in my lap 2 hours into the sit! It never gets old.
