Bought a car on a pallet. Hopefully this year is the one it drives
Car is starting to come together but still needs so much.
@brycebuilds has been doing all the fab and fixing random things that the car came with. Have been holding a lot of these photos for a while as it doesn’t move as fast as the internet does.
We are right around a year into the build process. Mainly because it’s so expensive to build a proper car.
Happy with the car so far. 🙂
Next I need to figure out a supercharger. Which one should I go with? Once acquired we can fit the motor and make mounts.
Some photos by @caseyxmurphy . If it’s not a good photo, he didn’t take it.
Definitely exhilarating
During matsuris at Ebisu, they keep the track open late into the night. Having only driven the track a couple of days, the night drifting was quite wild. Really operating off of muscle memory and some small visual queues. There are some guys who can do this track with their eyes closed. The night really shows who they are.
Left the video raw to enjoy this beautiful sounding SR20
The Matsui Spec S14
Nothing like a hopped up SR20 at the motherland.
This car has been sitting since 2019. @federicosceriffo17s baby. She got all freshened up by @naoto_suenaga for Spring Matsuri this year. Crazy how these cars can sit for years and then with a little love, rip for two days straight. Such a good car.
Rumor the motor is built but not sure. It’s got a head gasket and sounds like cams. For how fast it is, there is a good chance. Sr20s love being at Ebisu.
An absolute amazing experience and can’t wait to come back and drive it again 🤩 just needs an angle kit and fresh set of @bcracingna coilovers.
Rental cars in Japan hit different.
Had quite a few questions on where I rented the skyline and how it went. Figured I would give credit where it’s due.
@omoshirorentacar is amazing to deal with. This is my second time renting with them. Last year a GR 86 and this year the skyline. Extremely fair pricing. This car was just under 400 dollars for 4 days.
A really good experience to check that box. Highly recommend.
Which battles are you choosing?
Battle V or Battle VI
Spring Matsuri is always epic. Multiple courses with hundreds of drivers from all over the world.
Driving with @naoto_suenaga was an honor. So much skill and knowledge. Thank you @federicosceriffo17 for connecting us.

Matsuri has so much going on and happens so fast.
Love how the car looks with the @motegiracing wheels. The purple and white is soooo good.
Car needs an angle kit. Driving all weekend with stock angle was definitely a training exercise. Cars a ripper.
Matsuri ❤️
Another matsuri has come and gone. What a special place. This time driving a s14, right where I belong. This SR20 is so fast and sounds so good.
So many new friends and so much driving. I am sore in places I am normally not.
Huge thank you to @naoto_suenaga@federicosceriffo17@motegiracing for this unforgettable experience.
Returned to @holleylsfest for the first time in 13 years — didn’t go exactly as planned but, it’s not always about the destination but the journey that takes you there.
Full video now playing on the Taxi Garage Overtime YouTube channel!
Special thanks to @motegiracing and @thehoonigans for an amazing weekend
It’s almost time! 🎉 Roll call!
Excited to be making my way back to @ebisucircuit_official for spring Matsuri.
This year I will be driving a S14 Silva of @federicosceriffo17 . So excited to be in a Schassis at Ebisu.
Last year was one for the books. Can’t wait to be back ❤️
