Forgot to pack to my motivation when I came home 😩.
Back to work. Back to routine. Back to pretending I have my shit together.
It’s been a challenging few months and I’m still processing it all. But the alarm went off, the coffee got made, and that feels like enough. Some weeks you’re flying. Some weeks you’re just showing up. This is a showing up week and I’m told that counts.

In 2014 I stood at the bottom of the Stelvio about to ride in what felt like summer kit. Zero degrees at the top, snowbanks lining the road. Luigi Bergamo the founder of Q36.5 handed me the Hybrid Que jacket the day before and told me to trust it.
I descended at 80kph. Not once did I feel cold.
That was my introduction to what genuine fabric innovation actually feels like. No marketing hype. No gimmicks. Just a jacket that did exactly what it was designed to do keep your body at 36.5°C regardless of what the mountain throws at you.

It’s got everything I need. Empty roads, switchbacks, climbs, culture, Fiat Pandas, the food and wine are unreal and easy to get to. Probably not on your radar but it should be. La Langhe, Piedmont easily in my top 3 destinations.
You can easily rack up 2000 - 3000 meters of elevation with double digit gradients to kick your head in. Love it 🫶
