When a team aligns their ideas, passion, and dedication, the result is not just a project it’s an artistic way of sharing a statement. This was the case in our recent shoot for @hooligansyouth_ , where the synergy between creative direction by Jethro Imperial (@120eeee )and my photography brought our concepts to life. Every great project begins with an exchange of ideas. Before the shoot, we immersed ourselves in brainstorming sessions, sharing references, inspirations, and moods that would encapsulate the essence of the February Collection. Research played a crucial role in understanding the brand’s identity, its rebellious spirit, and the raw energy it represents helped us craft a visual direction that was both authentic and compelling. Creativity often thrives in spontaneity, no matter how much planning goes into a shoot. There will be unexpected circumstances like the sudden changes in the weather, the location’s small space, or impromptu inspirations that can lead to some of the most unforgettable shots. Instead of seeing these moments as obstacles, we embraced them as opportunities to experiment and push boundaries. The ability to freestyle on the spot, adapt to the environment, and still stay true to our vision is what made the project special. At the heart of this collaboration was a mutual understanding and respect for each other’s craft. Jethro’s creative direction provided a strong foundation, while my lens captured the raw energy of the models and the essence of the brand. The magic happened because we shared the same goal.
