Hi 👋 I’m Nick! I’ve worked in behavior change for 15 years speaking, teaching, and coaching people who feel stuck or disconnected from themselves. People who know deep down, they’re living a life far below their potential — but don’t have the tools, courage, or support to change on their own. People once like me. As far back as I can remember, I’d been chasing significance. I grew up as the eldest son of the Premier of Victoria, and from a young age, I lived in his shadow. No matter what I did, I was always “Steve Bracks’ son,” and I felt invisible. Like I wouldn’t matter unless I outshone him. Pressure became obsession. I trained obsessively as a teen to become a pro athlete, punishing my body.
I broke down physically at 17, and so did my identity. I spiraled. Discovering alcohol, I tried to escape anxiety and negative thoughts.
I blacked out whenever I drank and ended up with a DUI.
That sent me into the darkest period of my life. Ashamed and hopeless, I couldn’t get out of bed. I thought my life was pointless. Eventually, my mum dragged me to a psych. I wasn’t a failure, I was severely depressed.
There was a way forward. I got support. I went to uni to study business.   I learned the brighter path only becomes visible after you take the first step. That step requires the faith that you’re capable of more than your current reality.   Getting support taught me you can’t control your thoughts, but you can control what you choose to do next.   I made action my mantra. Momentum followed — Dancing With The Stars, speaking gigs, TED Talks, over 1,000 seminars globally, teaching people to take that first step toward change.   I learned most people want to change. To feel better. To tap into their potential. But they don’t know how to start, and deep down, they don’t believe they are worthy of more.   That’s what I help my weight loss clients with today.   They come to me ready for change, but with low self-belief reflected in their lifestyle: how they treat their body and how they speak to themselves.   Together, we recreate a lifestyle rooted in health and self-respect.   If this resonates, you’ve found your tribe. Stick around. I’m glad you’re here!

I’ll work with you 1-on-1 to help you lose weight and build a healthier lifestyle in 100 days. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ We start with a 1-on-1 holistic intake call to understand your current health, fitness level, lifestyle habits, mindset barriers, & goals. Then we build a simple routine with daily steps tailored to your schedule. 2️⃣ You’ll get 24/7 access to 1:1 support, weekly check-ins, and a private coaching community with live Q&A calls with myself and other experts. We’ll help you stay consistent, work through challenges, and get results one step at a time. 3️⃣ We guide you through core habits like daily movement, mindful eating, and short mindset check-ins. Each week, you’ll complete short video modules on metabolism, nutrition, sleep, mindset, and more — so you understand exactly why the changes work. 4️⃣ With strong habits in place, you’ll already notice changes in how you look and feel. From here, we turn the focus toward ramping up your custom diet and training plan to maximize results. You’ll keep progressing through modules and daily tasks, while building self-trust, discipline, and momentum. 5️⃣ At day 100, we review your progress, reflect on what we’ve accomplished together, and set your next goals. Whether you continue, graduate, or move into our advanced program, you’ll walk away with tools that last. *We guarantee you’ll lose weight and gain the tools to live a healthier life within 100 days of working together. If you’re interested, DM me “100 Days” and I’ll send over the details. - Nick

My @ted talk in 2019 on the global suicide epidemic - full description below: ... Mental Health is a global epidemic and one of the leading disease burdens, and suicide is a growing issue. Globally, around one in four people will be affected by a mental or neurological disorder, around 450 million people suffer from such conditions, and on average, one person commits suicide every 40 seconds. Based on a decade of experience working as a Mental Health Advocate, Facilitator, and Change Maker, Nick Bracks addresses this epidemic and offers insights into how we can collectively make change as individuals. He shares his own personal battle, and uses this to highlight global issues, such as social media, how disconnected we have become (despite being more connected than ever through technology), and how we need to stop putting on facades and show more vulnerability. ... #mentalhealth #ted #tedx #awareness
