It’s been a great year of touring again with the wife and the band. Now that I am managing the project, as well as everything else, its been a big work load to do everything between the two of us. But we have worked our asses off and made great progress this year especially without a big label or lots of funding, and which means things move slowly but surely. One thing I have learned is to take more pictures as this is a really random selection of photos with a lot of places missing 😂 Touring is amazing and life affirming but if like me your brain works a little differently and you struggle with mental health stuff it can be really challenging. So I’m pleased to be having a little break to build up my appetite again and get excited to have more adventures next year. Have a great Christmas and New Year everyone 🧡🤘

Been having a great time on tour so far this year as well as in the studio (new album is nearly finished!) and a definite highlight was spending a week on the Mein Schiff cruise ship and playing a couple of shows supporting Gregory Porter. A lot of laughs were had and it was great to hang and chat with Gregory, his amazing and lovely band and team.

I've been dreaming of playing our tunes on shows with this lineup for a very very long time so it was amazing to get the chance to finally do it last year even if i was bricking it slightly! Feel very honoured to share the stage with such an outrageous group of players!
Had a great time touring the Netherlands, Belgium and France last week. I don’t find touring the easiest thing with my brain as there are quite a few challenges for me to overcome but despite the extra work I have to put in to look after my mental health it’s still without doubt my favourite thing to do. Next stop is one of my favourite places as we head over to Ireland next month🇮🇪 🤘
Massive thanks to @officialgretsch and @fender for the artist deal. Absolutely loving playing these two guitars. The orange one (G6120TG-DS for those who are interested) is a bit of a dream guitar for me. I’ve wanted one ever since I was introduced to the music of the 50’s by my mentor frank white, but I couldn’t afford one. It’s coming on the road with me this week and I won’t take it for granted playing it on stage as it’s a special instrument and I’m very lucky to have it. 🎸 🤓
The first song I’ve produced to get on to the BBC Radio 2 playlist. Massive congrats to Laura for writing a great tune, @chrishesso for some top class radio plugging and my good pal @jamesslimcampbell for a cracking mix as always.
It’s been so good to get back out and play some gigs with Kat and the band. The shows have been great so far. There are still some tickets left for Sheffield on the 28th of June so please come along if you can!
