Portrait of @harlahoot . Really happy with the light in this one. Lit with an Alien Bees strobe through a 39” Elinchrom deep octa from above camera left. I often see plain, unflattering, or garish studio lighting when all it takes to get beautiful light is one well placed umbrella or soft box. I like to look at fashion/beauty work or old paintings for light inspiration and apply that to portraiture.
