We're opening this weekend! Thru Mar 29 at Roosevelt University. This fantastic cast, orchestra, crew, and creative team pour their energy and hearts into this beautiful and complex show! See you there - Raz Dva Tri! Directed by @dvbarham Choreographed by @quinnonstage@chicagocollegeofperformingarts@ccpaonstage
JEKYLL & HYDE has only ten shows remaining! I am so grateful for the incredible team of artists I get to collaborate with, onstage and backstage. And what a special opportunity it has been for me to conduct this orchestra of talented and passionate musicians whose musicianship, spirit, and excellence continually thrill night after night. Every performance is a gift I cherish and I'm so lucky to share it! @kokandyprods #jekyllandhyde #conductor #musicaltheatre

We are stoked to feature Melissa Young, Nick Sula and Dan Riley at our PRIDE month (Queer) Sacred Space Salon this Monday, June 9!
Melissa Young has been doing Out and Proud for 16 years, every year since 2009 to celebrate Pride and National Coming out Day. She is also an actor, director, writer and is The Original Singing Realtor on tiktok.
Nick Sula is a Jeff Award-winning music director and pianist. He recently music directed INTO THE WOODS with Kokandy Productions and ANYTHING GOES with Porchlight Music Theatre. He will be music directing JEKYLL & HYDE with Kokandy at the Chopin Theater this fall, and performing OUT AND PROUD with Melissa Young and Dan Riley on June 19 & 20 at the Den Theater.
Daniel Riley is a Chicago based performer. Born and raised in the Chicago and has performed at various theaters throughout Chicagoland, including Paramount Theatre, Northlight Theatre, and American Blues Theatre and is featured vocalist: Dark Side of the Moon A Capella (VOCOMOTION Productions). Quick trip to NYC this weekend to see these incredible Tony-nominated shows! Plus Maria Schneider at Birdland, an immersive-audio walk thru Central Park (thanks @dvbarham !), and requisite bagel, pizza, and cherry cheesecake 😋
Finished a messenger bag! Crisscross cable knit (yay!) texture for the bag, and comfy wide seed-stitch strap. And the multicolored yarn became playful speckled stripes! #knitting
"How Could I Ever Know" from The Secret Garden, one of my favorite musical theatre scores! Making an accompaniment track for a singer, thought I'd share #musicaltheater #auditioncut #pianotrack #accompaniment #collaborativepianist
Achievement unlocked: cable knit!
I didn't own the necessary double pointed needle - but I did have a chopstick and a pencil sharpener..! One swatch down.. what's next? (After I pick up an actual cable needle, that is) #knitting
Wow such a fantastic birthday! Loved celebrating with so many friends - and with pizza, burgers, arcade games, and birthday cake, I felt like a kid again! Thanks to everyone who sent birthday wishes and everyone who made it out to party! 🎉🥳
