Whole year since my Dad died.
Grief is such a stunning force, somehow existing alongside and inbetween every other feeling, never imposing itself because it knows you’ll always be back to spend time with it.
I anticipated pain today but I’ve been filled with gratitude for who he was to so many of us. I’m so glad Kate and I were raised by my Mom and him. What a team. Love you forever, Pops.
Grateful for all the gentle moments I was gifted this year. ✨❤️
May 2026 have more:
Naps, baths, walks, dogs, cats, flowers
Tech that respects our attention and time
Solar energy and gentler packaging
Science, healthy skepticism, slow news
And less:
America, settlers, putin, tates, bros
Billionaires, religion, influencers, slop
Mosquitoes, wind, labubus
Still reeling from @usbynightfest and general Antwerp shenanigans. Shoutout to all the incredible speakers, new friends, 8.5% beers, running, hotel baths, sunsets, 6am trains.
