I call it “The Side Piece.” But I designed it to be your go-to every day carry tool. …work smarter, not harder… plus sharpening knives sucks almost as much as using a dull knife sucks.
The next public drop is the v2.0 Side Piece in a two tone finish like this one here. I have about 200 finished but I’ll be holding a few back for Blade Show so most likely dropping about 150 of them 5/25/26 at 5:00pm Eastern Time.
Did you know that ALL knives have great edge retention if you don’t use them for dumb shit? Well… “the more you know!” 🌈
The Side Piece is one of the few of my designs which I designed 100% selfishly for myself… Don’t should come as no surprise that it is my favorite. This one I’m using here is my true bruiser user which sees the most opening, scraping, screwing & prying of anything I put in my pocket on a day to day basis.

Japanese Cowboy - pocket clip edition in its finished final form. These are cool. 😁
“Japanese Cowboy” gets its name from being a 10mm wrench (Which makes me think Toyota) and the “Old Timer” homage flathead screwdriver & caplifter (which makes me think of a West Texas Cowboy). Add in some Ween and the name basically creates itself.
Availability: I’ll be bringing some of these to @blade_show Atlanta and hope to get a drop ready shortly thereafter. But first all of the other things I’ve been showing are moving through my finishing processes and we’ll see those rolling out beforehand.

Japanese Cowboy - pocket clip version, prototype number one. For those you guys just catching up, this is my combination “Old timer inspired cap lifter/screwdriver & 10mm wrench combination. Designed and manufactured by yours truly out of grade 5 titanium. Hence the name - Japanese Cowboy. First thing I’ll change is removing the little lanyard slot and moving the pocket clip upward. But I actually really like how this thing rides higher out of the pocket in real world use. Taking this little mang to the range then brunch on a double date, & give it a test drive today.
