Our Folk Factory fundraiser has been going really well!
The groups are being sponsored to learn as many tunes as they can form our new tunebook, and are raising money to support the Sheffield Youth Folk Festival, which is taking place on 20th June as the celebration of 10 years of Folk Factory!

Had a lovely few days on London, watching my favourite performance from NYFE yet, with some of my lovely students past and present!
Done plenty of wandering round London and our new favourite thing is Finlay calling the underground 'the thunderground'.
We're very excited to be hosting our annual Youth Session at this year's @sheffieldsessionsfestival !
Our session is specifically for young people to sing, play and dance together, overseen by our wonderful Folk Factory team, so if you know a young person wanting to have a friendly space to join in, send them our way!

Had such a lovely day at my PhD graduation! Great to graduate alongside @rowanpiggott and have some tunes, and thanks as ever go to @fay_hield , and my parents, @andy_watson_lgmn and Finlay! Congrats to all of the Class of 26 :)
Super proud of all my Folk Factory groups for some brilliant performances on Sunday! They all worked really hard, with some fantastic solos, some singing, dancing and some great arrangements!
