Hi & welcome! 👋🏼
Nice to meet you, I’m Nicole.
I’ve spent the last 5 years building my “dream life” and I want to share that with you.
There’s been a lot of hurdles and challenges, but I’m constantly learning and working towards the same goal: living my best damn life!
What does it take to do it?
Let’s dive deeper. I’ll tell you everything and share my story, plus everything in between and what’s happening now.
Life is a journey; are you ready to take the ride?
Drop me any questions 👇🏼 and don’t forget to say Hi! I love meeting 🆕 friends
FIBI ✨
Seriously y’all, it’s expensive to do anything these days but we can’t let that hold us back from living our best lives.
I’m your wallets worst nightmare. I’m the friend that’s on your shoulder saying, “yeah, do it!”
If you’re new here, check out some of my early reels from January explaining how we got here. I’ve been on a journey for the past 3 years exploring and living out my childhood dreams.
I’m highly prone to traveling and certainly encourage everyone to. Not everyone can afford it, especially right now with the way of the world but at the end of the day it is JUST MONEY. You will continue to work and earn more, but you can’t get back time. You can’t roll back to your early 20’s and wish for more years (but don’t we wish we could get more 🤷🏻♀️).
Despite the rising costs and premiums we’re paying, keep your events on the prize. Remember you can look back and say, “remember when…”
Like remember when in 2020 we couldn’t travel?
Remember when it cost you an arm to get to {insert destination}?
Yeah friend, this too shall pass so FUCK IT. BOOK IT! 😜
Follow me for more travel advice. Or don’t and wish you did
I’ll just be here…
Pushing dough, mixing and testing formulas. It’s comp szn (for me), dialing in my dough and preparing for the next step of trying to replicate this process abroad. Luckily for me, humidity and temperatures will not affect results—-thank you Texas 🤠
Aiming to bring home another W!
While technology has advanced, it’s still prudent to ensure you have proper cooking temperatures. 🌡️
@oonihq advanced digital temperature gauge helps you understand the ambient cooking temperatures. While this is an important feature, you still need to know the cooking temperature of the stone!
No one likes a soggy bottom 😉
The Connect Digital Temperature Hub also comes with a probe, making it easier to roast meats in your oven.
New menu dropping this weekend
AKA multi-task overload
Running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to remember all the tiny tasks that need to be completed for a seasonal menu launch 🐓
Cue the checklist!
Serving up my award winning: CORNBELT Cracker thin 🏆
Carrot cake cannoli 🥕
& Summer salad with watermelon vinaigrette
Multiple trips to the grocery store and restaurant supply store, hours of baking, shredding, cutting, blending and filling bags, bottles and containers. Date dots, photos, recipes, training. 🤦🏻♀️
Life Lately:
Sneaky little week it has been filled with so many highs and lots of emotional roller coasters 🎢
Work looked a lot different with calls and sharing my space with friends who I admire. Took a mini road trip to visit some family, did a home pizza making class for 11. Enjoyed the “rainy” weather and blooms at home and along the highways. Lastly, checked out a new restaurant nearby.
Just a few things hiding in my camera roll from the week
Last week caught me completely off guard
We lost two amazing restaurant friends that made a lasting impact on the city. But this post isn’t about the loss
It’s about preventing more!
Mental health is still a priority and especially for those in the hospitality industry. We all go through difficult times regardless of your job or industry. Taking care of your mind and well being should be at the top of your mind.
Your mindset is the key to making you and those around you happy, feel welcomed and supported. If your cup is empty, you can’t fill others.
If you or anyone you know needs someone to talk to, please be there for them or at least provide them with helpful resources. Do not leave them to fend for themselves.
If you have insurance and would like to talk with a licensed professional, I highly recommend @betterhelp
My therapist was amazing and helped me through my own struggles. I know they can do the same for you.
In case you don’t have insurance, there are also options for FREE

The Mission: See what the hype is about at Buc-ees while in Texas
While we completed the mission, we also explored every corner of this Buc-ees. From the bathrooms to the home decor and into the candy aisles. No stone was left unturned.
I even managed to get us a pulled pork sandwich even though we just ate! Couldn’t help it. Fresh meat at the board—a must!
If you still haven’t visited your nearest one, highly recommend high tailing over @bucees
Monday was an extra special evening 🍴
@pizaros_pizza
As I watched this group of talented chefs work together to bring a beautiful meal together, it felt great to be a part of something bigger and collaborate with my community. It was a very proud moment to share a little bit of Houston with my friends and shine light on others who make this city stand out.
Thank you 🙏🏼

These past few days have been so special, some of my favorite people came to visit me and we put on a hell of an event.
Joy is an understatement. I’m so blessed to have friends like these!
To be present in these moments is precious. I love you all ❤️
After finishing a 6-week writing class, I’m honestly so open to taking in more opportunities of learning for fun.
It seemed scary and daunting to add something extra to my schedule but I meet new people and was exposed to new reading and different information that I don’t usually experience in my usual day-to-day life.
Last year I started running again to challenge myself and get myself out of the gym an extra day. This year I wanted to try something new and learn.
I think it’s been worth it and will probably try something else too.
What would you like to do?
