Gameday and Chill. For those of you who have been politely asking for roughly a decade if we would show games at NIB, well, starting this week, the answer is yes! As our company has grown, we’ve drawn in so many personalities that have changed the fabric of who we are. In recent years, that’s come to include some seriously die hard sports fans and as we start this new chapter with our taprooms, we’re leaning into that piece of our culture and community. Starting this week, we will be showing all Broncos and Nuggets games at both of our taprooms in Wheat Ridge and Arvada! We’ve got some brand new hardware installed to ensure we’re offering a top notch experience, and some beer specials to match it! Featuring $4 pints of our recently debuted, light lager, Chill. We designed this beer with our usual framework for ingredient selection and intentional flourishes, but emphasized an extra subtle profile. Chill bears all of the soul and passion that you expect from an NIB beer, but presented in a way that’s more familiar to an audience that’s growing rapidly within our community. As always, we’re constantly working to expand the scope of the community that we serve here in Colorado. We’re excited to start this new chapter, so come join us in celebrating our local teams!

A fresh start. A New Image. This whole journey has always been about embracing change. Refusing to settle for good enough. Taking leaps. When I first stumbled upon olde town Arvada, I pictured NIB on the main block. I loved the historic buildings, the walkable streets, it all seemed so promising. Things look a lot different around here than they did 10 years ago, but today, they’re looking a lot more like what I pictured back then. As of tomorrow, the vision from 10 years ago becomes a reality. We’re opening our doors on Olde Wadsworth for the first time for a pop-up weekend. We want to invite you to come see the new space while we continue to transform it into our forever home. It’s still got a lot coming, but we think it’s pretty f**ing special already, so it’s time to share. We’re joined by our family at @arty_express , who will be cohabitating this new home with us full time, bringing the food game on old wads up yet another notch. Come say hey, hours 12-10 ish, Friday through Sunday. We’re still figuring out the details, but we’re planning on one hell of a weekend. We’ll see ya tomorrow!

You must love what you do.” I’ve heard that so many times over the last decade, and I do, but what does that really mean? We tend to use that word so romantically, we imagine the honeymoon phase, when passion is high and everything feels exciting, but is that love? I’m not sure. I think love can begin to grow during that period, but I believe that time bears out the true meaning of the word. Love, to me, is a series of choices. To keep showing up. To keep pouring in. To stay curious. To be patient. I think love is most evident when things really aren’t easy, but you keep showing up anyway. Loving something can fill you up, and it can also empty your tank. Love means learning to appreciate all of it. Reflecting on the last ten years and everything it’s taken to come this far, I’m certain of only one thing - you must, love what you do. We put together a very special blend to celebrate 10 years of loving this brewery. Combining stouts aged 84 and 60 months respectively to capture the nuance and beauty of extended maturation. Available only at our taprooms starting Saturday, March 7th. Draft and bottles available. Come say hello, we’ll be here.

A clear mind, and a head full of hops. Clean Cut Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA Less than 0.5 ABV The timing for this one probably feels anything but serendipitous, but like anything that we do with intention, it really just kinda worked out that this beer is releasing now. Non-alc has been on our minds for a while. The obvious reason being that in a saturated market, we’re all looking for ways to grow, to some extent. Growth for growth sake has never been our thing, we’ve arrived where we are organically for the most part, and when we’ve tried doing or making things with the only goal being growth or sales, it usually fails. Why? Well, because that’s just not who we are. We’re genuine, and that’s why I think this new beer is actually going to work. Speaking personally (Brandon here), my own alcohol consumption has decreased significantly in the last few years. Namely as my endeavors to progress in ultra-running have more or less demanded abstinence from alcohol for weeks or months at a time. Here’s the thing tho – I like beer, and especially hoppy beer. If I never drank another light lager or shot of tequila for the rest of my life I think that’d be just fine, but dammit, I crave hops. We’ve tried our hand at a few non-alc pilots over the years and, to make a long story short, they just sucked. I really didn’t consider trying again until very recently when a new method / ingredient entered the market that caught my attention. Again, long story short, it’s a yeast thing. I decided to give this one a go, not because we needed something to sell, but because I genuinely wanted the beer to be good, for me. Here’s the thing, this beer is pretty fucking good. It’s iteration one of what I hope to be many, but I was pretty stoked to take a sip of this for the first time and think “damn, that tastes like something we would make”. It’s an NIB hazy, true to form. Miles ahead to explore with this, but I’m pretty damn proud of what we made here.

Snow isn’t the only thing dropping at the taprooms today… Colorado Christmas Tree is back! Inspired by the bold and punchy flavors of cannabis from some of our favorite, dank-forward hops. Available starting today at both taprooms and with select retail partners throughout the front range.

That “Fresh Cut” feeling. You know the one, walking out of the barber shop with that little bit of extra strut in your step. You feel lighter, unburdened, the world feels a little brighter and you might even feel a strong urge to dance. This is more or less the beer equivalent of that feeling. Fresh Cut is the latest iteration in our “mustache” series, dedicated to exploring a hop saturated experience in a light and easy drinking format. With this series, we are always featuring a combination of traditional T90 hop pellets in conjunction with concentrated hop pellets, e.g. CGX, Cryo, Lupomax, etc. but for this iteration, we’re playing with something extra special – Cryo Fresh Citra!!! Cryo Fresh pellets are made by taking freshly picked hops, then utilizing a flash freezing process to preserve their most volatile and delicate flavors in a stable package. This is a massive boon to brewers like us who don’t live within close proximity to our grower partners as the logistics for working with fresh hops are typically can be quite cumbersome to say the least. Fresh Cut features 100% Citra hops, delivered in traditional T90, concentrated Cryo and Cryo Fresh form. This beer is absolutely SATURATED with layers of over ripe apricot, pink grapefruit zest and a bouquet of aromas that you’ll typically only experience by walking through the hop fields during harvest season. We’re gonna have a lot of fun with this one, come join us! Available at both taprooms and via select retail partners.

Unleash the collabs!!! Fall is in the air, the holidays are around the corner and we’re feeling extra sentimental about our industry homies. Maybe this is like the brewery equivalent of “cuffing season” but we’re celebrating these friendships with a slue of collabs that are sure to warm your heart ❤️ No Place to Go but Everywhere – first up, we’ve got a “fun hops only” hazy collab with our friends at @calltoarmsbrewing . We’ve loaded this one up with Riwaka, Nelson and Nectaron because you don’t show up to your friends going away party with vanilla ice cream, you show up with a bag of drugs (the fun ones), a pillow and a gallon of electrolytes. So this is basically the beer equivalent of that. Expect nothing subtle with this one, just ginormous tropical fruit first bumps, dank wubs of cannabis and ethereal meanderings of exotic flavors that evoke feelings and sensations that words fail to capture. Invisible Smoke - we’ve teamed up again with our friends at @bierstadtlager to bring you a fall banger that slaps harder than Taylor’s most recent album drop. This smoked lager features a combination of beechwood smoked barley and oak smoked wheat from our favorite German malthouse, with a slightly elevated ABV and a firm malt backbone. As always, our collab with Bierstadt is a perfect pairing for extended conversations, replete with spicy hot takes and meaningful emotional connection. Geographically Misleading – WBD – we’ve got a fresh drop of our new, yet already deeply cherished, west coast IPA collab series. For this iteration, we teamed up with our friends, and the undisputed kings of west coast, @westboundanddownbrewingco , to bring you an IPA that wastes no time apologizing for being just as bold as its muse. Look, this beer f**ks, but words aren’t gonna do it justice so you’ll just have to come taste it for yourself. Find all of these at both NIB taprooms as well as the taprooms of our friends above! Available via select retailers throughout the front range as well. Grab a pint, and a friend, and embrace the deep love that makes this industry what it is.

SHUT. UP. MIKE. Okay okay. Bud. WE HEAR YOU!!! Ever since we kicked our last keg of NI IIPA (approximately a year ago lol) you’ve been adamant that we bring back another west coast double IPA. While the calendar was about right for another round of IIPA, in discussing the above in our managers meeting, we decided to honor your request with a very special, double IPA, brewed in your honor 😘 Ok backing up a second… If you hang around our Wheat Ridge taproom at all, you have likely met Mike. He’s been with NIB as a member of our taproom team for a hot minute now since discovering our company through our weekly bike club ride. Mike is one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet, he has an impeccable taste for curating taproom music vibes and a deep passion for everything we do. Mike is also a ride or die for NIB and all things west coast IPA. It took the participation of the whole team to keep this sh**t a secret, from code names to secret slack channels, falsified brew sheets and carefully hidden labels. We kept this plan under lock and key because, ya boi be curious!!! Today, we debut this beer as a special surprise for someone who brings a lot to our team. Normally I’d tell you at least something about the beer, but I’m gonna go ahead and leave that task to the man himself. Best enjoyed in the presence of its muse, draft and cans available at both taprooms and with select retail partners, limited Mike interactions available exclusively at NIB Wheat Ridge.

Based on a real pigeon. Hut Pigeon follows in a series of beers that celebrate the close ties between hops and cannabis. If you’ve been face deep in bowl of buds and a bag of hops, you already know, they share some remarkably similar aroma profiles. This beer features all the punchy flavors and aromas of cannabis, without any actual components derived from the plant. We leaned into some of our favorite, dank forward varietals and piled them into a supremely quaffable west coast IPA to showcase their beauty. This beer rips like that last, way too aggressive hit that you probably should have declined near the end of the night. It’s unapologetically pungent with notes of diesel powered blueberry, evergreen trees that look just a little bit menacing and the ever gentle clouds that drift through the stands at a Red Rocks concert. Don’t post up, this beer f**cks. Available now at both NIB taprooms and throughout the front range with select retail partners.
