I'm looking forward to dancing in my only scheduled show of the summer this weekend with Wasted Wine. Some incredible performers in this one! There are still a few Tickets available. Head over to @carolinabauernhausgvl and get yours before they are gone.
Forgive me if this flyer isn't up to my normal standards, I have been BUSY!!!
This farewell reception isn't a bad thing. I am moving on from Good Art Co to make room for someone who will use my beautiful studio space more than I am able to because I have started a new full-time job! I'm very excited to be in a position to help make a difference in our environment through conservation, education, and community involvement, but my new position is requiring a lot of time, so this is, "goodbye for now, but not forever!"
Every piece of art is on sale. If you have been wanting something from me for your collection, now is the time! Even if you don't need art, please come and say bye. I will have snacks and some beverages, as well as hugs for everyone!
1-4pm on Sunday May 18th. Studio J in Good Art Co at 10 Central Ave in downtown Greenville, SC
I am not able to dance right now, as I am taking time off to try and get back on my feet after injury. But, that just means I get to watch! T
here were so many beautiful performances from our community last night. Thank you @brighteyesbellydancer for hosting a fantastic hafla. It was great to get to snuggle my dancers one more time and see all of the performances. Everyone did an excellent job. Next time, hopefully, I will be able to participate more!
It's tomorrow, y'all! Get those tickets now!

I had a blast yesterday, teaching my newest veil technique workshop, "the power of letting go, " to this wonderful group of dancers in Commerce, GA. Thank you so much, Alima, Raana, and Banat Al Wadi, for trusting me with helping guide your dancers, and for such a wonderful experience!
The workshop was so much fun, and the perfect way to cap off my year of teaching, as I take a hiatus to heal my injuries.
There's nothing quite as satisfying for a teacher as watching their students grow into incredible artists in their own right, and the show was filled with examples of my dance students who are now awesome performance artists. I am just so proud of all of you, and so happy for you 💗
Angela, Laura, and Shannon showed off with their own beautiful choreographies, Melody and her DC skirt dancers just killed the finale with their high energy, gorgeous piece, Serpentine Jade rocked the sword, and all of the Grey Day dancers did a wonderful job showing off my newest group choreography.
All of the pieces in the show were just awesome! Thank you, dancers from near and far, for sharing your art with us! I was mesmerized.
Today is clean up and rest, and getting ready for our final big show of the year, next weekend!
Fall is busy, but I couldn't ask for a better busy.
Just...wow!
