We're excited to share that we have some additional donation drop box locations! As always, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the businesses that open their doors to the public on our behalf to collect much needed donations for our communities. Thank you so much, we can't do this work without you! Another huge thank you to every single person who has donated time, money, or items to support our mission. Your donations are what allow us to keep going, and we really appreciate your continued support! Thank you also to everyone who may not have the means to donate, but still takes the time to share our content, spread the word, and talk to friends and neighbors about us. We get a lot of donations simply because someone talked to a friend that directed them to us. Community connection and involvement is what keeps us all going, and the people that share our posts and talk to friends about us are making a huge difference! Stay tuned for an upcoming post about snap benefits and more info on how to help! Thank you all so much! ✨

Hello everyone! We get a lot of questions about where and when the different stores are, which is totally understandable! There's a lot of them now and it's hard to keep track of them all. Every location is accepting new volunteers and we love to meet new people. There's a few other mutual aid groups in NH that aren't part of NHMARF but if you live closer to them, please check them out. We love to see the mutual aid community grow! See you soon 😊

This is a community meal for everyone in the city. We are eager to build community and meaningful connections with everyone, from all walks of life and backgrounds. There is no fee or charge - please come hungry and open to meeting new people! The Community Meal is from 12-2pm on the last Saturday of every month. People are welcome to bring baked goods or drinks to share, but nothing is required. This meal is hosted at the YWCA on 72 Concord St. alongside the other nonprofits who operate out of the building. Street parking is free. Please share widely and join us in building a community together!

Manchester friends! Please help us spread the word that for the next two Sundays - May 10th and May 17th - the free store will be held in Kalivas Park, still from 1pm-2pm. We will be returning to our usual setup at Veteran's Park on May 24th. Thank you!

Our friends at @nhmarf will be vending at the fest tomorrow, and they’re bringing their Power Drive with them. NHMARF distributes a ton of batteries, cables, and charging blocks at their five weekly free stores across the state — these items go fast because folks rely on them to keep essential devices powered. If you’re coming to the fest, swing by their table, say hi, learn more about the work they’re doing, and consider tossing a few supplies in your bag to donate. It makes a real difference for neighbors who need to stay connected. Hey neighbors, planning to stop by @lunamothzinefest this Saturday, April 18th at the YWCA in Manchester? If so, catch us tabling there - along with some other great orgs and artists - and please consider bringing some supplies to donate to our power drive. We distribute a large quantity of batteries, cables, and charging blocks at our five weekly free stores around the state, as shoppers are always in need of ways to keep devices and vital electronics charged. Please come say hi to us if you go! We also suggest checking out the hot food being offered by our friends at @communityfoodsupply when you're ready for a meal after supporting local artists. 🙂 Community Food Supply is a growing charitable org that has been providing Manchester free store attendees with free hot meals since January - and yes, the food is both nutritious and tasty! All proceeds going to them from this event will help support their efforts of feeding our most vulnerable neighbors. ❤️

Thanks to YOU, we were able to donate $1,510.12 to NH Mutual Aid Relief Fund through our Round It Up program in March! The NH Mutual Aid Relief Fund’s mission is to provide direct action and solidarity to meet the material and social needs of their community. April’s Round It Up recipient is Families in Transition. Visit our website for more information on this organization and don’t forget to round up!

Hi neighbors! We are excited to announce a new partnership with @communityfoodsupply , an organization who has helped make our community meals a reality each and every week for the last three months. We are excited to see this project grow and none of it would be possible without community members like you, which is why we are also stepping in with a small ask. As we continue to provide our neighbors with comfort, community, and chow each week, we are hoping people with time and/or financial resources can sign up for volunteer shifts to assist with food prep or service, as well as donate funds to help cover the cost of these meals. With overhead - such as rental of a commercial kitchen - included, the meal cost per person is under $2. We are grateful for the community we continue to build and we hope you join us by tapping the link in our bio to volunteer, donate, or learn more. Thank you for your continued support!

Hi all, we're reaching out today with a specific ask: our free stores are running low on period products, and we would love your help replenishing our supplies! We would be happy to receive pads and liners of any type, plastic-applicator tampons of any size, reusable or disposable discs or cups, and flushable wipes; however, we ask that you not donate cardboard-applicator tampons at this time, as we have plenty of those and they are much less popular. The Manchester store is especially in need due to distributing large quantities of these items at recent diaper pantry pop-ups, but you can bring your donations to any of our free stores or drop-off locations around the state! Please see our pinned posts for details on the days/times/locations of our free stores, as well as a list of those drop-off locations. Thank you for any support you can offer - even if it's simply liking and sharing this post. ❤️ #solidaritynotcharity

The Concord free store is excited to share that we are the recipients of the Round-It-Up at the Register Program at the @concordfoodcoop during the month of March!! To support us, stop into the co-op anytime during March and round up your purchase to the nearest dollar 💵 These donations will help us purchase hygiene products, food, camping gear, hand warmers, batteries, socks and so much more. The co-op has an amazing selection of organic/nonorganic produce, locally made food and bevs, homemade bakery items, bulks products, freshly made sushi, and a crazy good salad/hot food bar!! Thank you to the co-op and to our community for your continued support of NH MARF 🫶🏻

Hi neighbors, due to the dangerously-cold windchills forecasted for this coming weekend, the Manchester free store will be held inside of the YWCA at 72 Concord St instead of at Veteran's Park on Sunday, February 8th. We will also be starting one hour early and running the store from noon until 2pm. The main entrance on Concord St has steps, but if you need an accessible entrance, please go to the side door on Chestnut St where there's an elevator and press the "office" button; swipe to see images and maps. Please also help us spread the word about this change! Be safe, and take care of yourselves and your neighbors.
