Congratulations to the NFVF-funded film, Carissa, on winning the 2026 Deleen Bekker Prize for the best Film Screenplay in Afrikaans by the Suid-Afrikaanse Akademie vir Wetenskap en Kuns. The film, directed by Jason Jacobs and Devon Delmar, features Gretchen Ramsden, and was filmed over six years in the Cederberg region.
