Gold for Crags! 🏅 We’re delighted to share some positive news with our Maltby community. Our Crags Community School has received Charter Gold Accreditation, in recognition of our partnership with parents and carers. During their visit, the accreditation team spent time speaking with families, pupils and staff, and highlighted the school’s inclusive and nurturing approach. Parents spoke about the positive difference the school has made to their children and family life, with one saying: “Within two weeks my whole family life had changed”. We’re proud of our team, and incredibly grateful to our families for working alongside us every day.

A New Term and a New Food Tech Room at Endeavour! 🌟 We’re excited to welcome pupils back to a brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art Food Technology room at Endeavour Upper School. Huge thanks to Craig Reay and the Redbrick FM team, and to Kevin Oxborough TechIOSH AIWFM and our Central Capital Projects Team for leading the project brilliantly. We’re also grateful to Headteacher Neil Davies, staff, and pupils for their support while the works took place. Last term Maths leaders from across the Trust came together for a collaborative Maths Moderation session!➗➖➕✖️ We focused on the importance of cross-trust moderation, providing an opportunity for colleagues to engage in professional dialogue, share expertise, and strengthen a shared understanding of assessment expectations. Colleagues took part in a collaborative moderation activity, reviewing students’ work together and discussing the evidence that demonstrates mathematical understanding and progression. Cross-trust moderation is a valuable part of our commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. By working together, we strengthen the accuracy and consistency of our judgements, develop shared standards across our schools, and create meaningful opportunities for professional collaboration and reflection.
