Today, we reveal another key piece of this year’s program.
The lineup expands with a new wave of artists, further opening the festival’s trajectory across live sets and performances, moving through different languages, formats, and ways of experiencing sound.
Abdullah Miniawy joins forces with Simo Cell for a collaborative live show that weaves together voice, electronics, and sonic research.
Ariella Vidach AiEP, together with Alessandro Adriani, present Koppelia, a performance where choreography, sound, and motion capture merge into a single immersive environment.
Daniel Blumberg arrives with an intense live set blending songs and free improvisation, shaped in dialogue with the landscape itself.
Also, new DJ sets come into play: Dj Hell, a defining figure in European electronic music; Nosedrip, known for his distinctive curatorial approach; and Somatic Rituals, a collective blending bass-driven energy, percussive rhythms, and a shared vision of the dancefloor.
These names join the artists already announced —Carrier, John T. Gast, Miriam Adefris, OKO DJ, OK Williams, and Helena Hauff — outlining a program in constant evolution.

NEXTONES 2026 – Sound Explorations are here.
Beyond the main program at Tones Teatro Natura, the festival expands with four daytime site-specific performances that turn the territory into a living score, where music, nature, and human presence intertwine.
We are thrilled to announce the four performances of NEXTONES 2026: from Hydromantique at Terme di Premia, an immersive underwater listening ritual by Michela De Mattei and Palm Wine, to Kenichi Iwasa’s debut of a handmade hybrid instrument in Ghesc, created in dialogue with the village’s acoustics. In the Orridi di Uriezzo, Shane Parish plays Autechre Guitar, a raw encounter with natural resonance and landscape, while in Veglio, Laura Masotto brings a ritual performance where violin, electronics and shamanic percussion merge into an immersive sonic world.

Ariella Vidach AiEP @ariellavidachaiep and Alessandro Adriani @adriani.alessandro present Koppelia, a performance unfolding between choreography, sound, and real-time digital transformation.
Berlin-based producer and Mannequin Records founder Adriani joins forces with the Milan-based collective Ariella Vidach AiEP, known for its research into the relationship between body and technology.
Drawing from the universe of Coppélia, the ballet, and E.T.A. Hoffmann’s The Sandman, the work uses a markerless motion-capture system to translate movement into images and sound, creating a shifting dialogue between physical presence and its virtual double. An exploration of digital identity, desire, and the uncanny — where the boundaries between body and simulation begin to blur.

Carrier brings Rhythm Immortal to Nextones 2026 with a special A/V live performance in collaboration with Japanese photographer and filmmaker Riyo Nemeth.
Built from decades of exploration across drum & bass, techno and radical minimalism, his sound unfolds as dense architecture — rhythm suspended between tension and dissolution. Within the granite walls of Tones Teatro Natura, image and frequency merge into an immersive listening structure.
At Nextones, landscape becomes a device for perception.
🎯 3 Days Pass (Camping included) available.
Nextones 2026 develops its visual identity in dialogue with photographer @rachele.daminelli
Her lens moves away from urban density toward an intimate dialogue with nature, focusing on the micro-elements of Val d’Ossola — textures, details, almost invisible presences that reveal the valley as a living organism made of subtle relations and silent connections.
A visual research that mirrors the festival’s vision: to build a temporary community through practices of attention and deep listening.

OKO DJ presents a specially composed A/V live set, integrating narrative trajectories from her latest album As Above, So Below.
Electronics and acoustic instrumentation move between ritual, sound healing and industrial imaginaries, accompanied by a full-length video work created specifically for the show by filmmaker Hajj (Dawn Records).
A transformative experience where listening becomes collective practice — under open sky.
Join the community July 16–19. 3 Days Pass with camping now available.
Val d’Ossola sits at the northern edge of Piedmont, bordering Switzerland — a wide Alpine valley shaped by glacial erosion and crossed by the Toce river.
Granite quarries, vertical gorges carved by water, thermal springs, high-altitude pastures and small stone villages define its morphology. The landscape shifts quickly: from narrow rock canyons like the Orridi di Uriezzo to open plateaus and forested slopes.
During Nextones, the festival unfolds across these different terrains — from the former granite quarry of Tones Teatro Natura to the thermal baths of Premia and the scattered hamlets of the valley.
A territory with a strong material identity, where sound meets geology.
