Say a big hello to our newest oldest member, Audrey 🫶🐒🌸
Audrey is a Meanjin based artist and the friendliest face in town. She's been a close friend of the Nextdoor team since the beginning, volunteering in multiple events over the years before officially joining us in 2023.
Finding joy in cute, homely and playful imagery, Audrey utilises illustration and collage to create quaint artworks and products. She takes inspiration from a variety of media and concepts such as Devon Rex cats, tidy homes, cartoons, freshly baked little treats and outdated British television dramas. She is an avid supporter of the arts and always eager to help a friend.

At the end of last year we said farewell to Nextdoor members Kim, Meg and Nic 🫡🫶
We might be missing their pretty faces at our meetings, but they can still be spotted at art openings, karaoke nights, lunch dates, parties and beach trips 🫶 Once a Nextdoor member, always a Nextdoor member ✊
We love the three of you equally, of course, but thought it was worth giving a special shoutout to Kim - a founding member and major contributor to the tone of Nextdoor from the beginning. Thanks for all your hard work over the years, Kim 🫂🐬✨

Dearest Nextdoor Neighbours,
You’re all invited to wrap up the year in our Surfers Paradise home at the 4217, with an afternoon of giving!
Friends new and old are welcome to join in on the festivities, all we request is you bring an art creation made by you. This art piece can take whichever form you choose ~ from a video work on a USB to a doodle on paper. Anyone who brings an artwork, will get to trade it with someone special!
The gallery will be transformed into a cozy dining room with fun and games.
Celebrate the end of another great year while sharing food, stories and art together!
