Welp, my first strongman comp moving up from novice to open class went exactly as I anticipated: I got my ass handed to me and I loved every minute of it 🤣 I felt honored to kick off my first comp in open alongside some incredibly strong and amazing women!! The ladies truly made this comp so RAD - all cheering each other on and helping each other every step of the way! The best part? I bullied my best friend @kaylaparker_88 into dabbling in strongman and we had the best day competing together! She killed it and took first place in Novice HW! So proud 🥹
To my incredible coach + Viking Princess @aphelianstrength THANK YOU! For being the best mentor AND for putting on such an epic comp! 🫶🏽🫶🏽 And to @nutritioncoach_jennieroberts for helping me drop weight, maintain strength, and being such a powerhouse running the comp day of!
I have SO much learning and growing to do (especially with ANY pressing movement 💀) but I am so excited to jump into the strongman world! Who knew I would learn to love rocks so much 😅
❌ Viking ship pull (only made it 26.6 feet in 60 seconds - that was BRUTAL! Our weight class had 200lb extra IN the ship 😅)
❌ Press medley (95lbs rock press, 80lb circus dumbbell, 150lb log - hit nada 😅)
✅(1/3) Carry medley (got the duck walk at 240lbs, never got to the 360lb chain/anchor drag, but my big win was being one of only 2 ladies in HW to even move the 200lb natural rock!!! Didn’t make it the full length, but hearing the crowd ROAR when I got it up was a magical moment)
❌ Viking press (180lb was just not happening… but I fought the full 60 seconds for it!)
✅ (2/4) Atlas stones (got the 145 and 165! Really wanted that 210 but I was gassed by the end of the day… I never stood a chance against the 240 LOL)
It wasn’t my best day… but it was perfect 🫶🏽
Next up: catch me on the platform on 5/29 in Anaheim as I chase a 1000 pound total before I say “see ya later” to powerlifting for a bit and solely focus on strongman 😈 LFG!!

✨ A truly magical first at Wylde Horses ✨
This week, we held our very first Reiki session, beautifully incorporating the calming presence of our horses and the healing magic of a sound bath. Following our yoga class, we gathered for a deeply emotional experience that moved many of us to tears. Those that attended, are still in disbelief of the power it held.
We are also so pleased to introduce our newest instructor, Rich, who is trained in Reiki and brings such a gentle, grounding energy to our community.
Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that helps restore balance within the body, mind, and spirit. It is often used to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, ease emotional tension, and support the body’s natural healing process.
When combined with the intuitive and calming presence of horses, the experience becomes even more powerful. Horses are incredibly sensitive to energy and emotion, often mirroring what we are feeling and helping us reconnect with ourselves in a safe, peaceful space.
The addition of the sound bath created a soothing atmosphere that helped release stored tension, quiet the mind, and invite healing on a deeper level.
Our first session was filled with emotion, connection, and peace. We are so excited to continue offering these beautiful experiences at Wylde Horses.

Our yoga session this weekend was such a special time to slow down, breathe deeply, stretch our bodies, and reconnect with ourselves and each other. There was so much peace, laughter, and positive energy shared throughout the morning.
We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and made it such a meaningful experience. Moments like these remind us how important it is to take time for wellness, connection, and community.

There’s a place tucked away in Valley Center that feels like pure magic… and I got to experience it firsthand 🤍
I volunteered at Wylde Horses, and being there in person completely changed me. I wasn’t just hearing about what they do — I got to be hands-on, helping out, watching how everything runs, and truly feeling the heart behind it all.
Every single person there is incredible. You can tell this isn’t just something they do… it’s something they live. The energy is so genuine, so welcoming, and so full of purpose.
And the kids… 🥹
Watching them connect with the horses, seeing their confidence grow, their smiles light up — it’s something you don’t forget. They’re learning so much without even realizing it. They’re healing, growing, and stepping into themselves in the most beautiful way.
This place is doing something really special. It’s not just a ranch — it’s a safe space, a learning space, and a place where kids feel seen, supported, and strong.
They rely on the community to keep going — to care for the horses, maintain the space, and continue these programs that are changing lives.
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering somewhere meaningful… this is it. If you have kids, bring them. If you can give, support them.

First of all… Is this even in real life? I have to pinch myself to see if it’s real. I was invited by @erika_m_teren and Rachel @wyldehorsesvc and it was such a good day. Yoga. Sound healing. Reiki. With HORSES
Erika led the yoga class and she’s really, really good at what she does. The flow felt natural and easy to follow, but what stood out most is how present she is. She actually pays attention—she remembers people, their names, little things they’ve shared, and you can feel that. Her attention to detail is next level and the way she slows things down and really notices everything makes you feel comfortable and seen. It’s not just a class with her, it feels more personal than that. She’s A BEAUTIFUL PERSON.
Rachel and what she’s doing with @wyldehorsesvc is amazing. The horses are so calm and gentle, and you can tell they’re really connected. They’re helping children with disabilities build confidence, communication, and trust. They use things like speech buttons on the horses, and each child has support with side walkers and leaders so everything feels safe and structured. The kids are genuinely happy out there and you can see them opening up.
Also thank you to CJ from Cado Cafe for the food. The matcha was beautiful! So good, and she’s another strong woman in the community showing up and supporting.
There were men and women there, but I’ll always stand on this—women supporting women matters. We’re stronger together, and when we actually show up for each other, it creates something really powerful. That kind of energy is everything. Powerful!
The amazingly gorgeous @nextchaptercontentcreation took this picture and she took several more. I can’t wait to see what she puts together.

We had the absolute privilege of bringing a dream to life with a breathtaking styled shoot at the iconic Catamaran in San Diego—one of the rare beachfront venues where sailboats drift by, yachts glow in the evening light, and the bay creates the most romantic, coastal backdrop imaginable.
This shoot was especially meaningful to me. Katie, our stunning model, was the very first face I worked with when we re-launched the magazine… so to have her here, part of this vision, felt incredibly full circle. 💫
The inspiration? A soft, elevated Lake Como meets San Diego aesthetic—effortless, coastal luxury with timeless elegance. And what made it even more powerful… every single vendor executed the vision perfectly. It came together even more beautifully than I imagined.
