Les musiciens de Shan improvisent en se projetant dans un imaginaire commun de la montagne. La musique fait écho à l’entièreté des forces élémentaires qui l’habitent, s’y entrechoquent, s’y accordent, ainsi qu’à la relation entre les humains et ces forces. La musique de Shan ne se répète jamais. Elle est vivante, se métamorphose au gré de l’espace commun qui se crée à chacune des improvisations du trio. Cet espace s’étend à chacune de leurs retrouvailles et laisse toujours la parole à ce qui doit se dire dans l’instant. À l’intérieur de cette musique, il n’y a pas de leader à proprement parler, mais une conversation triangulaire, dans laquelle chacun fait résonner son instrument en s’abandonnant à l’énergie tellurique et sonore qui circule. Been a long time hey? 👋 Well, we have something beautiful to announce but first, a little memory: In February 2019, we were on tour for the first time, promoting our first EP and preparing our first album. Also, we had invited the one and only @benwendel to join us that week 🥹 We dug into our archives and found some gems 💎 : From that week, we had done some studio work but we also recorded our burning show at @reflektorclub in Liège !
