🎵 Seamlessly switching audio from one speaker, headphone, or soundbar to another? Allowing switching between songs or adjusting the volume of a track upon user input? In this video, we explain how you can incorporate these interactive functionalities in your own integration projects. 🎵
Our NEW XR-D2 Series RFID drivers enable you to create extensive and large-scale NFC-based applications by giving you Read and/or Write capabilities on NTAGs! In our new YouTube video .
Creative use of the X-Eye Presence and X-Eye Motion sensors in this prickly project. A Mexican proverb is the star of this attractive installation; “Al nopal lo van a ver sólo cuando tiene tunas”, translates to “they only notice the cactus when it has prickly pears”. It means: People only notice you when you have something to give.
Fernando’s interactive display visualizes the revenge of the cactus’s fruits(!!), surprising the audience with different sound and light effects triggered by Nexmosphere sensors, depending on the distance and position of the visitors.

Nexmosphere’s pick-up sensors provide triggers to the conncected digital signage player when the merchandise it is attached to, get’s picked up or moved. Our wired pick-up sensors are easy to mount on any product and can also be used as security measure.
Connect a Nexmosphere pick-up sensor to the Xperience controller and use it to trigger video content on a connected screen and provide information about the merchandise on display.
Sustainability and digital gadgets go hand in hand in JBC’s revamped concept store. The Belgian retailer offers an interactive and educational shopping experience for the whole family with a focus on sustainability. For example, part of the shop is made of recycled materials and children learn about what ‘recycling’ means by playing with the interactive screens and furniture pieces.

The explanation on how the Presence and AirButton sensors work and can be applied. Watch the full video here: https://youtu.be/E8vprfAIwyo
Their full benefits include:
- Trigger the right video at the right time. Play a looping video when nobody is standing in front of your display, a well-cued attracting video when somebody is detected at distance, and switch to a Call To Action video after the person has approached your screen to further invite them to interact with your digital content.
- For example, by having them use the AirButton functionality. This allows you to offer layered interactive content while only installing a single sensor.
- Offer accurate user-generated data to your client, which is provided automatically by the sensors to the CMS that you're using. Find out what works, and where future improvements can be made. Find out what times of day are most popular and which visual content attracts more audience.
All set to travel to Germany to attend the S14 Solutions day(s). When glancing over the speaker's program it's clear that many of the speakers will give their insights about creating user experiences that implement the new (let's call them updated) needs of our society. Addressing questions about how technology implementation, supports better habits that sustain our new normal and offering actual solutions. Nexmosphere will be present with our demo stand to show firsthand how interactive sensor Elements fit in beautifully with this train of thought. We'd be happy to see you there! The full 3-day program (21/22/23-09) can be viewed here: /de/events/s14-solutions-day/index.html

Let your digital signage content -*POP*- by adding in interactive content triggered by color input! Use our #colorsensor to:
👉 Create Place & Learn applications with metal objects -which is not possible with RFID technology-, such as beverage cans or electronics. If the product does not have an explicit color, colored stickers can be used on the bottom of the product.
👉 Other retail examples include matching color input to highlight, or -indicate the location of products on in-store shelving.
👉 Or triggering onscreen visualizations of luxury objects color finishes, as for example cars at car dealerships; allow shoppers to browse through options by placing color samples on the sensor and show their new car onscreen in their preferred color.
👉 In museums or entertainment areas, triggering color-based digital content engages even the youngest of audiences. For instance, add fun to nutritional education by letting kids pick and place replicas of veggies and fruits onto central, plate-shaped platforms in which the sensor is installed, and trigger exciting content about Eating the Rainbow.
The HZ-H60 Color sensor detects the color of objects that are held against or placed directly upon the sensor. The color of the object is communicated back to the Xperience controller in the form of our easy-to-read serial commands. For this sensor, the HSL values are communicated through these API commands.
The communicated API commands are used in the software of your digital media player to trigger connected events, for example, triggering or changing content on the screen, and changing the animation of your connected LED strips to match the color chosen by the person using your presentation. You can even trigger audio files on connected speakers.
Building creative interactive installations is made easy by our robust hardware that can be controlled with only a few clicks by many Content Management Systems. When choosing any of our partners CMS’s, you are assured of easy implementation and joined support in case you have any questions during installation or programming of your interactive Xperience.
Ever ran into the problem that your client wanted to update their physical store with something new and elevating for their shoppers, but couldn’t (or wouldn’t) close the store to facilitate the tech installs needed? Read all about our puck-sized pick-up sensor in this post..
The P3 sensor is a battery-powered pick-up sensor, that can be placed in, or -under merchandise. It requires no connected wires, antennas nor stickers for it to work, but does work with the same communication principle as all our other sensor Elements.
The P3 sensors detect the shopper interacting with the products on display and send instant status messages to the EM-F unit on the controller. The controller can be invisibly installed, at an 8-10m distance from the actual sensor. The messages sent are used to trigger onscreen content or animated lighting effects on connected LED strips.
Trigger content about products info, origin, its manufacturing process, the brand’s values or story and draw in your target audience while at the same time gathering data about which products are interacted with, and for how long.
In practice, this means you don’t need to install hardware within the store furniture or shelving. A perfect fit when:
- retrofitting existing store furniture.
- it’s undesirable to install hardware into the shelving. For example, when shelving is made from a transparent material.
- you want shoppers to be able to freely place back products, without being limited to a fixed product platform.
- there isn’t space to install the controller close to sensors or merchandise.
Our sensors are specially designed for retail applications, therefore the P3 sensor has an ultra-low power consumption to assure long battery life; 2+ years with average use. For the same reason, we’ve made adding on more sensors to a controller unit a breeze (max. 40 sensors per controller). High impact, future-proof retrofits with minimal effort, become a reality by using our easy-to-implement technology.

We want to enable you to transform any digital display into an engaging experience. Our collection of sensors and controls offers the ability to create unique interactive journeys wherever Digital Signage is applied.
The definition of an experience is something that happens to you that affects how you feel. A true experience is an event that addresses the senses, creates emotion, and in doing so, is memorized.
Nexmosphere products are used to create interactive Xperiences with technology. These Xperiences impact someone’s in-store experience by inviting them to explore merchandise, providing more info through visual or audio content, and offering selection guidance while setting the right atmosphere with beautiful lighting effects and communicating a brand’s story.
