This is the second Mega Reaper I’ve had the opportunity to bring to life, and I’m so much more proud of how this one turned out compared to the first. If you’re at @transworldshows stop by the @plagueproductionsla booth and check it out! I’m beyond proud of our crew—and even more proud to be one of many rockstar artists working for a company that truly supports my talent and pushes me to be better every single day.

Ever wonder how haunted spaces feel so much bigger than they really are? 👀 Our scenic artist Jimmy Dilley breaks down one of our favorite tricks—subtle mirror effects. When used just right, mirrors don’t just reflect… they extend a space, bend perception, and pull you deeper into the environment without you even realizing it. In this clip from The Conjuring: Beyond Fear, you’ll see an example of how we use hidden reflections to create depth, amplify tension, and make tight spaces feel endless. It’s not about obvious illusions—it’s about controlled misdirection. #PlagueProductions #ScenicDesign #HauntDesign #ImmersiveExperience #TheConjuring #BehindTheScenes #ProductionDesign #ThemeDesign #HauntedAttraction #SetDesign

Some gargoyles I digitally sculpted, that were 3-D printed and assembled for @plagueproductionsla IAAPA booth! Crazy to think that I am relatively new to digitally sculpting. Makes me so excited to see what else I am capable of with the support of the Plage team!

I know this will be a big shocker to many people that know me and my Deep passionate love of creating the Nightmare on 13th. After 18 years and 14 years of them creating and building the world of Nightmare on 13th, I have decided that the time has come to move on to new adventures and experiences. This was the single hardest/Biggest decision of my entire life. There are a few reasons why I made the decided to move on. Mainly this last year I have seen that I have taken my art as far as I can take it within the limitations of the Nightmare. Growth as an artist is something I strive everyday for and sadly I see to grow into the artist I want to become, I must take bigger risks! I am so Extremely proud of everything I accomplished over the last 18 years at Nightmare on 13th! I’ve had the privilege of creating many amazing worlds and monsters! I honestly have built, created and accomplished more in 18 years than some people will be able to do in their entire lifetime within the Haunt industry. But I truly have only just warmed up! Thank you to Mike for giving me the opportunity to build a Halloween Gothic Wonderland, of my Dreams and trusting in my vision of what the world of the Nightmare could be. So what’s next? Well what I’ve been doing already… just a lot more of it… Freelancing my; scenic, design and haunt skills out. So if you’re a haunt owner or amusement park and are looking for a Dark Fantasy artist I am taking gigs! I Also have set my sights on creating worlds for amusement parks with Plage Productions as well! Which is an opportunity I very excited to take on with all the vigor as the crazy determined artist I am! So as I close the one of the biggest chapters of my life, just keep an eye out there cause I’m about to do many more extraordinary things!

So stoked that we’re finally starting this project!!! Anyone that knows me well knows my absolute love HP Lovecraft Lore. I am super excited to finally explore more of the Lovecraft world with this new addition to the Nightmare on 13th call Innsmouth wharf, which is based on the shadow over Innsmouth. This particular main concept art has been one of my personal favorites, I have painted in the last few years! #lovecraft #hplovecraft #conceptart #digitalart

One of my favorite parts about being a designer is being able to live in worlds that are completely macabre and gothic! This concept art was for an area called Nightmare Alley done at the @nightmareon13th haunted attraction in Utah back in 2019. #conceptart #attraction #design #gothic #hauntedhouse #hauntlife
