Thank you to everyone who joined us for our record-breaking 2025 Newport Classical Music Festival! 29 concerts, 92 musicians, 205 pieces (plus plenty of encores), nearly 7,000 tickets sold, and over 200 students inspired through our free education engagements. We’re deeply grateful to our patrons, dedicated staff, incredible production crew, committed volunteers, generous sponsors, and brilliant artists for making this one of our most memorable festivals yet. 💙
While our summer concerts may be coming to a close, the music does not stop here. Join us for our year round Chamber Series and keep the music going all year long!

While there could only be one chosen design, we were truly blown away by the creativity and care behind every submission to the 2026 Newport Classical Poster Competition. It was such a joy to review such a strong and inspiring group of designs. 💙
Today, we’re highlighting just a few of the many incredible submissions we received. Thank you to every artist who generously shared their creativity and vision with us. We were genuinely impressed by the range of work submitted and are so grateful to everyone who was part of this process.
We hope you enjoy celebrating these talented artists with us!
We are so pleased to announce the winning poster design for the 2026 Newport Classical Poster Competition! Congratulations to Devon Rea, an artist and designer based in the UK, on his winning design! 🎉🔥🎶
Devon writes: “My design intends to tackle the challenge of contrasting both the intimacy of a small concert and the grandeur Newport Classical’s venues in a single image…merging instrument and architecture into a single form. This visual fusion reflects the festival’s unique identity. World-class music that is experienced up close within historic, grand spaces. By blending tactile detail with architectural presence, the design captures Newport Classical as both deeply personal and timelessly monumental: a living art form rooted in place, light, and connection. The result is an inviting, quietly confident image that positions the festival as both a cultural destination and a deeply personal encounter with music.”
You’ll be hearing more about Devon and his work in the coming weeks! Be on the lookout around town as the posters start making their way up!
With dozens of submissions, we were honored, humbled, and truly blown away by the range of designs and the amount of talent showcased in every single entry. Later this week, we’ll also be highlighting some of the incredible designs we received.
