The Saramonic Ultra might just be the best all-around wireless lav mic system out there. Look at SOME of the things it does and tell me I’m wrong… - ✅ 32-bit internal recording ✅ Internal and external mics ✅ Safety channel support ✅ Wireless charging case ✅ Timecode integration ✅ Up to 984’ range ✅ IPX5 weatherproof ✅ Native USB-C/Lightning adapters ✅ Sony Multi-Interface Hotshoe adapter ✅ Automatic gain control ✅ Noise reduction, low-cut, & vocal enhancer ✅ AMOLED touch screen ✅ Mobile app control

Both the RODE Wireless PRO and Saramonic Ultra support 32-bit internal recording, but there is a LOT more that goes into a wireless lav mic system than that. - If you’re wondering which one might be best for you, check out the complete comparison in my latest video at the link in my bio.

The Aston Microphones Spirit lured me in with looks, but kept me around with its sound. This condenser mic is super stylish, and features multiple pickup patterns, as well as pad and low cut switches, making it super flexible. - This mic is an all-around winner! See and hear more in my latest full video.

The MikTek MK300 is a studio condenser microphone that I think punches WELL above its weight. It not only has a heavy, well-built feel and fantastic sound, but offers a ton of flexibility. - You can choose between 3 polar patterns (cardioid, figure-8, and omnidirectional), as well as enabling a -10dB pad for loud sound sources, or low-cut filter to get rid of unwanted low-end noise.

The @seelectronics sE2200 is one of the most flexible and well-rounded condenser mics in its price range. It’s got great build quality, a fantastic, full-bodied sound, and features hardware switches with multiple low-cut and padding options. - The zip-tie style pop filter is also one of my favorites! Check out all the details on this mic in my latest full video.

The Audix A133 is everything you could want in a studio condenser mic. Compact but well-built, flexible with low-cut and pad switches, and best of all, it sounds fantastic. See all the details in my latest video!

Part 4 of my Condenser Mic Comparison series just dropped. This time, covering mics in the $300-$400 range, although some are currently on sale! - There is not a bad-sounding mic in this bunch, so choosing a favorite might be next to impossible. Give them all a listen at the link in my bio and let me know what you think!

It sounds good on its own, but the Universal Audio SD-1 thrives alongside their Hemisphere microphone modeling software, which allows you to emulate the audio characteristics of some of the most legendary mics in history.

The Aston Microphones Stealth not only sounds great, but lives up to its name with hidden features. This microphone has 4 different voicings to choose from, as well as an integrated, auto-switching gain booster to give you 50dB of added gain when phantom power is applied. See all the details and hear how it sounds in-depth in my latest video!

The Audix PDX520 is a beauty AND a beast of a mic. It’s extremely well-built, and is perfect for spoken word applications with its built-in hardware low cut and presence boost switches.

@heilsound describes the sound of their PR 40 as “a quintessential dynamic microphone”, and I have a hard time finding a reason to disagree. The champagne finish also puts the PR 40 on my list of mics that might look even better than they sound, and that’s saying a lot!

In my latest video (link in bio) I review and compare 7 dynamic microphones in the $250-$400 range. - These are the mics you’ll get to hear: - ✅ Aston Microphones Stealth ✅ Audix PDX520 ✅ Heil Sound PR-30 and PR-40 ✅ RODE ProCaster ✅ Shure SM7b ✅ Universal Audio SD-1 - I also give a shoutout to the ISOPOP BroadCast from @isovox , what I consider to be the best pop filter out there for broadcast-style dynamic mics.
