Hundreds of you joined us for the first annual Newgrass Fest last year in Newberg at our beloved Chehalem Cultural Center. Hard to believe it was only eight months ago! Now we’ve confirmed the entire lineup for March 2026 see our full feed or website.
This year, we’re expanding to two full days with a larger stage in the ballroom and even more to enjoy:
• More bands and jam sessions
• Unforgettable chances to connect with fellow musicians, vendors, and artists
• Guest winery and brewery presenters
• A kids’ area and family-friendly programming
• Seminars, surprises, and so much more
Newgrass 2 is shaping up to be a massive celebration of music and community! A two-day party with so many acclaimed acts on the bill we can hardly believe it ourselves. Expect incredible performances, vibrant energy, and plenty of opportunities to share the love of bluegrass.

It’s been one week since Newgrass Fest, and we are so grateful for all the thoughtful comments, emails, and notes this community has responded with. We left uplifted by the music, the community, and the overwhelming encouragement for what’s next!

Wow, we had such a blast playing and hanging at @newgrassfest this past weekend. Thanks so much to @christiantdebenedetti and @rach_new_berg and their incredible team for including us in the line up this year. It was so fun to share the stage with so many of our heroes. Everything was so well run and the vibes were amazing! We are so lucky to have a growing bluegrass festival in the nieghborhood.
It was a bittersweet show for us as this will be the last show with the incredible @john542 on guitar. He's brought his incredible musical talent to the Skillets band for the last 8 years and helped build us into the band we are today. We look forward to future porch pickin sessions with John. We will miss John's incredible skills and humble personality and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. While this will be a big change, the Skillets will continue on... we hope to see you all before too long.
Some jams we tuned into today! Two days of Newgrass with 12 performing bands was incredible, thanks for everyone who traveled near and far to be here, our hearts are full 💛💚💙 see us next year!! Follow our page to support, it means the world to us!
