2025 was a huge year for NewFuture. Even if it doesn’t look like it, I honestly feel like I achieved more this year than ever before. I set out to work in a new medium and learn a new skill—either in 3D design and printing or soft goods—and I followed through by designing my own windrow turner machine and successfully having it 3D printed. I also met some amazing people along the way, made new friends, continued old friendships, and picked up new clients and exciting opportunities that are already rolling into 2026. My only goal for 2026 is to keep creating. I’ve got some big projects in the works and a workshop upgrade coming up. Everything you’ve seen so far is really only half of what I worked on this year, and I can’t wait to share the rest. Work in progress! Masking was a huge effort but well worth the result. I masked the whole surface, mapped and drew out the design and cut out the areas I wanted white. I then sponged on the base grey colour over the cut outs so any bleed through would be the base colour and not the white I air brushed. Still a long way to go but this was a big step. #diorama #miniatureart #toyart

Well, this was an impromptu build. A month ago I had no plans to make this at all, I received a package from @artemis_custom and inside was a nerf gun that had the perfect seat shape and sparked this whole piece. I've been watching anything and everything @daxs_wasteland_workshop has been loading on his new YouTube channel and I think that's really inspired this current hover series. This was a bit of an unofficial challenge to myself, sticking to one single project from start to finish. Normally I'll get 60% through a build and shelve it and start another and I'm trying to force myself out of that habit. This bike had some issues, I rushed paint steps and paid the price having to redo the paint job at least 3 times, each time sanding back to base and starting again, at one point I considered binning the whole idea and moving on but with some encouragement from a few mates ended up following through with the build and very glad that I did. First completed project in the new workspace! Only a small and quick build but very fun nonetheless. My first vignette style piece based on @doofusdraws sketch. I came across his sketch and felt instantly inspired and wanted to try this new style, also taking alot of inspiration @marble_cat3059 with the cut away type scene, having the walk way not perpendicular to the base but having it a bit skewed. If it doesn't make sense, the idea is *unnamed soldier is using the bionic arms to grab the overhead pipes and vaulting over a raised walkway while aiming down the scope of his pew pew. Some pretty big news that I'm very excited to share. I've been commissioned by @greencaremulching to make an insert for a new table. It'll be my biggest job yet. I flew down last week to meet everyone and see the site and company for myself and create a design for what they want made. It's 1/50 scale, 3m long and 600mm wide. It'll feature all the machinery and equipment they use, showing them in action. I'm very excited and grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to make and share some progress!! I don't normally accept commissions but when @frankgreenhouse came to me about building a Brotherhood of Steel bunker from #fallout1 the nostalgia hit was too big and I couldn't say no! Frank was as fantastic as a client could be and I hope to make more with him in the future! This was a pretty big job and tested a few limits, I learnt new skills and pushed my foam crafting to a new level! Everything is scratch built from xps foam, styrene tubes, pvc pipes and CONCRETE!!
