Save the Date: 10 Years New Südstadt in Heidelberg An exciting milestone in urban development – and we are right in the middle of it. From now on, the #CoalymerSeries by New Digital Craft will become a permanent part of the Südstadt. With this, we are bringing CO₂-storing outdoor furniture directly into everyday urban life – as functional infrastructure and a visible statement for sustainable construction. A special thanks goes to the team at #Marlene42, who recognized the potential of our approach early on and, as pioneers, commissioned seven #CoalymerStools and one #CoalymerTable for their users. A tangible example of how innovation translates into real-world application. We are very pleased that @landauer_betonteile is responsible for the concrete works and prepares our formulations for serial production. We are proud to be part of the Urban Development Day and look forward to presenting our furniture series live on site on May 9, 2026.

Frederick Kiesler once described architecture as a continuous space in which wall, floor and ceiling merge into a spatial envelope – more like a cave than a house. Many of these ideas remained visions because the funds to implement them were lacking. With large-format 3D printing, these means are now realistically available to us for the first time. Additive manufacturing allows for continuous geometries and complex spatial shapes that can hardly be produced with conventional construction processes. Do we really only want to reprint existing house typologies? The classic single-family home is the result of decades of optimized construction site processes, materials and tools. Its form follows this logic. If we reprint it 1:1 and add a few rounded corners, we are using the potential of the technology to a limited extent. Projects such as Tecla House by @mario_cucinella_architects show a different approach: architecture that is conceived from the point of view of technology. 3D printing can and will make construction processes more efficient. And that's a good thing: but his greatest potential lies in rethinking spaces - not just producing existing structures in a new way. When the brand takes shape: a 3D-printed exhibition stand for @adddix_3d at KPA – Kunststoff Produkte Aktuell. @newdigitalcraft developed and designed 10 high-quality, sustainable furniture pieces on demand, each with integrated branding. 3D-printed at large scale using additive manufacturing by @adddix_3d —directly from digital design to physical application. The combination of parametric design and robot-assisted pellet extrusion printing enables: • Custom furniture branding without tooling costs • Extremely short development and production cycles • Material-efficient, sustainable manufacturing • High structural performance with reduced weight • Industrial-grade quality at large scale The #result is a spatial #brandawareness — visible, tangible, and immersive. This approach is particularly effective wherever brand and space merge, and where individual design is valued: • Exhibition stands and brand environments • Lobbies, studios, and modern workspaces • Showrooms and retail spaces • Individually designed living environments Additive manufacturing connects #architecture, #product, and #brand into a consistent physical experience—direct, customized, and sustainable. https://lnkd.in/emnrNvGB #AdditiveManufacturing #BrandExperience #LargeFormat3DPrinting #IndustrialDesign #KPA #FutureOfMaking #ExhibitionDesign #ExhibitionStand #TradeFair #FairDesign #NDC #SustainableMaterials #Biopolymer #Circular 26 Min.

Before a module becomes a space-defining interior highlight, everything starts with initial test prints for our geometry studies — raw versions, prototypes, variations. Every shape, every chamber, every surface is deliberately examined and further developed with a clear focus: 🔹 How does the geometry influence acoustic performance? 🔹 Which structures work in a material-efficient and sustainable way? 🔹 Where do design, function, and fabrication align best? The printed samples serve as preparation for acoustic testing — a crucial step in making design not only visible, but measurably effective. Here, form doesn’t just follow function, but an iterative process of digital design, material understanding, and real-world testing. This is how individual wall coverings are created at @newdigitalcraft . Not off the shelf, but shaped by data, material, and attitude. Stay tuned — we’ll continue to take you along in the process. #BehindTheScenes #MakingOf #3DPrinting #AcousticDesign #ParametricDesign #MaterialResearch #CircularDesign #InnovationInArchitecture #Biopolymers #Wallmodules

2026 starts with a new collaboration for @newdigitalcraft , which we are particularly looking forward to. We can't share too many details yet – the project is at the very beginning. But the first print 1250 x 700mm turned out well: a good #Omen for what is to come. We are happy to tackle this project together with the artist @janushochgesand . Our connection goes back to the time we spent together at the Städelschule Frankfurt and it's good to meet again to think about what started back then. More insights will follow soon - Stay tuned - Creative Industry makes the difference !!! LOVE ! #creativeindustry #arts #städelschule #3ddruck #am #wallmodule #ndc

#2026 can come. Let us remember what truly matters: We are different — and connected precisely because of that. Not perfect. Not finished. But real. At @newdigitalcraft , we design products that make this diversity visible and tangible. Products that do not merely allow individuality, but actively enable it. Because spaces, materials, and structures unfold their greatest potential when people can shape them as an expression of who they truly are. Let us think bigger. Dream bolder. Connect instead of divide. Think freely, innovate, and have the courage to be different. Our work creates space for personality, conviction, and creative self-expression — in design as well as in the built reality. What we radiate returns to us. What we believe becomes reality. We wish our clients, friends, and like-minded partners a year full of opportunity, clarity, and confidence. A year in which individual ideas take shape — precise, sustainable, and authentic. Let us not merely wait for #2026 — let us fully embrace it. With lightness. With humanity. With conviction. Be who you are. Live how you feel. 2026 will shine. — @newdigitalcraft #Hello2026 #2026KannKommen #EmbraceTheFuture #ChancenNutzen #LetItShine #DigitalFabrication #AdditiveManufacturing #ParametricDesign #ComputationalDesign #ArchitectureMeetsTechnology #RethinkingArchitecture #NewDigitalCraft #DigitalCraft #DesignToProduction #FutureCraft #CraftingTheFuture #SustainableDesign #CircularConstruction #MaterialInnovation #responsibleinnovation

Art meets Acoustics. In a unique log cabin in Norway, an acoustic element becomes a space-defining work of art. The 3D-printed #WallModules by @newdigitalcraft combine aesthetic precision with technical performance. Individually tailored to the room geometry, materiality, and acoustic requirements, the result is an installation that harmonizes design intent, functional impact, and sustainability. Each module is individually and parametrically designed, then 3D-printed from bio-based, circular materials—creating architecture that respects its context while setting new benchmarks. New Digital Craft enables bespoke spatial design that is not off the shelf, but shaped through digital processes and sustainable thinking. #Privacy meets #Openness. Do you sometimes lack space for focus and retreat in your open-plan office? Or does your glass meeting room need visual screening that adds structure without sacrificing openness? This is exactly where the 3D-printed biopolymer room dividers from @newdigitalcraft come into play—designed to be aesthetic, modular, and sustainable. They create a refined balance between privacy and openness—structuring spaces while remaining light-permeable and architecturally precise. Using additive manufacturing, custom-designed elements are created and precisely aligned with the overall interior concept—serving as a deliberate design accent that organizes space, strengthens identity, and shapes atmosphere. Thanks to 3D printing, maximum design freedom is achieved: every geometry, every light effect, and every surface structure can be intentionally integrated into the spatial composition. Privacy, zoning, and brand identity thus become an integral part of the design—not a retrofitted solution. Manufactured from circular, recyclable biopolymer, our room dividers combine refined aesthetics with responsibility. Three variants—one principle: #FOIL – ultra-thin, floating or flexibly applied to glass. #FOLD – movable and foldable for adaptable spatial concepts. #FIXED – permanently installed, acoustically effective, and space-defining. This is how work environments emerge that do not abandon openness, but rethink it—between light, material, and idea. https://lnkd.in/eruKnuGx #3DPrinting #Architecture #InteriorArchitecture #WorkspaceDesign #SustainableDesign #PrivacyVsOpenness #Biopolymer #SpatialDesign #ParametricDesign #CircularDesign #NewDigitalCraft #MaterialCulture

#Privacy meets #Openness – new structures for modern work environments. Does your open-plan office sometimes lack space for focus and retreat? Or does your glass-walled meeting room need a visual screen that creates structure without losing transparency? This is where the 3D-printed biopolymer room dividers from New Digital Craft come into play – aesthetically designed, modular, and sustainable. They strike a fine balance between privacy and openness – structured, light-permeable, and architecturally precise. Through additive manufacturing, each element is individually designed and tailored to the overall spatial concept – as a deliberate design feature that structures spaces, strengthens identity, and creates atmosphere. 3D printing enables maximum design freedom: Every geometry, every light effect, every texture can be purposefully integrated into the spatial composition. Thus, privacy, zoning, and brand identity become part of the design – not afterthoughts. Made from circular, recyclable biopolymer, our room dividers combine elegance with responsibility. Three variants – one principle: #FOIL – ultra-thin, floating, or flexibly applied to glass. #FOLD – movable and foldable for adaptable spatial concepts. #FIXED – permanently installed, acoustically effective, and spatially defining. This is how workspaces emerge that don’t give up openness – but redefine it – between light, material, and idea. #3DPrinting #Architecture #InteriorArchitecture #WorkspaceDesign #SustainableDesign #PrivacyVsOpenness #Biopolymer #SpatialDesign #ParametricDesign #CircularDesign #NewDigitalCraft #MaterialCulture
