Blockading BAE systems in Washington, Sunderland on Armistice day. Never again means standing with our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Sudan, Yemen and Iraq and all oppressed peoples. Never again means standing up against the imperial zionist war machine. BAE systems have worked with both Rafael and Elbit on the CV90 military vehicle equipped with Rafael's SPIKE missiles and Elbit's Iron fist to "neutralise threats". The Washington site has received hundreds of millions of pounds of funding from the UK Ministry of defence and this site is known for its production of artillery shells. F35 fighter jets are manufactured with BAE's support, such as the Blackburn site which makes the fuselage. The UK arms industry is entirely complicit, with recent reports revealing that British munitions are arming the UAE who fund the RSF's slaughter of the people of Sudan. We will not stop taking action against these merchants of death who take pride in their poppies with utter hypocrisy using their own hands and tools to enable the atrocities of today.

Save Umm Al-Khair Playground!🏏⚽️🥎🎾🏓🏸🎈🪁🥅 It’s near Hebron in the West Bank and is under threat! Settlers have demanded its demolition so they can seize more Palestinian land. Once again, Palestinian children are the target of the occupation. But you can help try to stop this! Recent international pressure paused the demolition of Aida Youth Centre’s football field. We can do the same for Umm Al-Khair! > Sign the petition > Contact your representatives > Share far and wide! Scan the QR code or go to https://bit.ly/save-playground to sign the petition.

An evening celebrating the beauty, resilience and heritage of Palestine 🌿🇵🇸 Honoured to host George & Nidal Rishmawi in Newcastle. #FreePalestine #PalestinianHeritageTrail #Solidarity Last week, we had the honour of hosting George and Nidal Rishmawi from Beit Sahour, Palestine. Through powerful stories, videos and photographs from the Palestinian Heritage Trail, they showcased the extraordinary beauty of Palestine — its hills and valleys, ancient olive groves, vibrant communities and deep cultural traditions. In the face of so much destruction and distortion, it was moving to witness Palestine as a living, breathing place of resilience, hospitality and connection. From Jenin to Hebron, they spoke about walking the land as an act of preservation and resistance — protecting memory, culture and identity. Their work reminds us that heritage is not only about the past, but about safeguarding the future. Through their lens, we were reminded that Palestine is not only a site of struggle, but a place of extraordinary beauty and enduring life. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped create such a warm and thoughtful space. It was a privilege to host George and Nidal in Newcastle and to strengthen the ties of solidarity between our communities. Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Today we mark 78 years since the Nakba began. We cannot forget that the Nakba could not have happened without the willing participation of the British. Our government and establishments ignored all warnings from Palestinians and Jewish leaders alike, and plunged Palestine into decades of violent oppression, dispossession, and ethnic cleansing. The has Nakba never ended. From the massacre of Deir Yassin in 1948 to Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon today. We must continue our fight against ‘zionism’ and for liberation. Head to the Nakba 78 highlight for learning resources, actions and guides.

06:33 TODAY! 🔥 It wasn’t a normal morning for Rafael, an israeli state-owned weapons factory, in Newcastle. 🤔 We came in 2 waves, ensuring staff and deliveries could not enter the site for OVER AN HOUR! ✊ Like always, there were no arrests because this type of direct action is COMPLETELY LEGAL. And… Justified 🇵🇸 SHUT RAFAEL DOWN! FREE PALESTINE! STAND WITH OUR POLITICAL PRISONERS! 💥

GEORDIES BLOCK GENOCIDE ON NAKBA DAY... TWICE! Today, activists blocked the entrance of Rafael, an Israeli state-owned arms factory in Newcastle. As the first group of activists were moved, much to Northumbria Police's surprise, a second group appeared from nowhere. It seems like Geordies aren't too fond of this stain on our city and will keep turning up to disrupt this abomination. Nakba Day marks the destruction of the Palestinian homeland and the mass displacement of the Palestinian population in 1948. Once again reminding everyone that this did not start on October 7th 2023. The people united will never be defeated.

Raising our children without the constant worry for their safety is a privilege so many of us overlook. I wrote this poem in 2024 after watching a video of a Palestinian mother who had given birth to her baby in the early hours of the morning and then had to evacuate the hospital only hours later to seek refuge somewhere safer, somewhere safer than a hospital? I pray my privilege never makes me blind. 🤲🏾 #poetry #ukpoetry #spokenwordpoetry #Palestine #Gaza

Today, on World Keffiyeh Day, I wanted to take a chance to honour the most iconic symbol of Palestinian culture across the world🇵🇸 Long before it became a global symbol of resistance, the keffiyeh belonged to everyday Palestinian life - worn by farmers, workers, shepherds and villagers across our land. Through generations, it’s come to carry something much deeper: memory, identity, displacement and the refusal of a people to disappear. In 2026, those who wear the Keffiyeh carry nearly a century of resistance on their shoulders – and importantly – the shared belief that the Palestinian people will be free ❤️ Big up all the people representing the kuffiyeh and fighting for freedom.. free Palestine always. ✌️ #zeytoun #worldkeffiyehday #freepalestine
