š¬ THE SERVE is finally out (link in bio)
I made this short film with the help of total strangers on Reddit, friends, and acquaintances who believed in the story.
It sheds light on āthe yipsā, a debilitating form of performance anxiety, while also reminding us of the reason we started playing sports.
For a first time indie filmmaker wearing many hats, this was my film school ā baptism by fire. This project taught me more than I ever imaginedāabout visual storytelling, risk-taking, and trusting the process.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring this to life.

Yips (plural noun): A psychological āglitchā that causes an athlete to overthink and lose their ability to execute simple moves.
This short film follows a once-promising college tennis player seeking redemption in his senior year while grappling with the yips.
This project will always have a special place in my heart. I loved surrounding myself with brilliant artists who knew more about filmmaking than me. Thank you for being my teachers!

A few weeks ago, I met up with the editor of my upcoming short film, SQUID (currently in post-production), in Bushwick. As we parted ways, I stumbled upon this intriguing combination: street art on Roman architecture. My first thought was: āoh no, the graffiti is defacing the beautiful Roman architecture.ā But in reality, it enhances it and helps it stand out. For instance, I wouldnāt have noticed this building without the graffiti.

PAUSE.
Ok, out of curiosity, where did your eye go first when you looked at this photo?
For me, itās the depth of the ramp levels that draws me in. I tried a few shots without anyone there, but having a subject there made it so much more interesting. And the colors? Just enough for the eye to snack on.
Funny how I pass this spot every day on my scooter on my way to work, usually too rushed (or too lazy) to stop and snap. It was just a matter of time.

Iāve always been fascinated by stylized photography because it conveys so much. Two units ago in my photography class, we discussed very briefly the technique behind long exposure shots. Thatās when I realized just how hard it is to execute. On my most recent stroll, I took several unsuccessful shots, either too blurry or not blurry enough. But these two turned out to be decent. Which do you like more: Bike or Car?

Just bought a new camera and went for a walk around the neighborhood. Photography slows me downāit makes me look closely and notice beauty in simple things. Recently, I realized Iām often pointing the camera up. Not sure what that says about me, but the shot arenāt too shabby. In this one, I love how the twigs and branches frame the tower. I find it interesting the combination of bare branches and leaves working together to draw the eye up there.

I was taking a stroll from Bushwick to Crown Heights when I stumbled upon this stunning vine-covered wall. The vibrant green of the wall, especially against the blue September sky, had to be preserved in editing. So, I cropped the image to give the green most of the frame.
