Some of the cartographic clothing patterns are transposed into hybrid interior furniture consisting of two sonic benches made of wood, fabric and integrated speakers. Through these benches, which are linked to the entities by audio cables with contact microphones inserted between the skin and the garment, the collectiveโs body-earth resonates. From these patterns, from these benches, emerges the sound of an altered interiority, of an amplified intimacy that could be likened to lava gushing up from the surface of the ground, from a mapped landscape.
Two entities walk through this landscape playing their body-instruments, one with a bagpipe that becomes an extension of his own body and the other with her voice. Fueled by their breaths, and by the pressure exerted by one body on another, sound seeds emerge, scattered like a milky way.
The resulting soundscape is the product of two types of contact, one by the friction of the body picked up by contact microphones, the other by the pressure given by one body on another "body-instrument" . These different sounds come together to form a musical structure that echoes the cycle of life.
