The GORE-TEX brand is taking its “Selected Memories of Functionality” series to Paris Fashion Week, showcasing the most iconic products developed by brand partners throughout the years.
The 2023 edition sees human curator ADVANCED RESEARCH and machine driven designer NEWFACET* showcasing AI-generated imaginary GORE-TEX concept products from the past and the future.
For the creation of “Memories", ADVANCED RESEARCH selected a single photo from a 1980s Japanese GORE-TEX catalog. This picture served as the base for an image-led AI to compile multiple unique styles, six of which were chosen for the Paris Fashion Week showcase.

Visuals for Merrell 1TRL – Hydro Next Gen Moc & Mule
The Moc & Mule emerges as a direct translation of geological processes into wearable form - a silhouette born from the patient dialogue between water and stone. This design embodies the fundamental principle of erosion, where persistent currents carve essential forms from resistant matter, leaving only what is structurally necessary and aesthetically inevitable.
We had the pleasure to expand on this concept together with Merrell 1TRL and created these visuals for their SS24 campaign.
We explored together with @coteetciel the intersection of 3d and AI.
The innovative campaign has been created using cutting-edge technology that brings together 3D renders of the brand’s Allura range of recycled/synthetic leather products with AI rendered imagery.
